    Thanks.

It's fine for her to be flustered, but what about Peter?

He was trying to convince her that the guy was just trying to get her flustered, and the whole time I'm sitting there thinking, "Ok, say it. Just say it."

All he had to say was, "Olivia. The man tried to have you killed. Now he's talking about saving you? Think about it. He's lying."

And then that could open up a bunch of new doors because when we find out that they really did try to save Olivia, Peter can realize that he was wrong. Now, with the way things are set up, Peter can still be wrong, but there's nothing to hold it against him. It's just a belief, rather than facts that he misunderstood.

Considering that the show is about twisting the facts of science, it would have played along very well with the show's theme.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I'm guessing he was trying to have her killed because she would disrupt whatever this bigger thing is if she arrests him. I really don't know, though.

Nah, I'm sure you're on the right track. I guess I'm not really arguing that. I'm just wondering why no one there seemed to make note of this conflicting idea.

Well maybe he did save her from whatever the old woman's name is. He could have been working with a splinter group to stop whatever the company is doing. So he had to kill her when she found out or he would be exposed. Then the company would know he was doing something and get information out of him.

I think he may have been quick to have her killed because, while he was trying to save her, he may not have wanted to risk saving others if he had gotten caught doing whatever he was doing.

With that said, I understand what you're saying, but I just didn't say anything originally because I just thought they were choosing to go certain way and I was just gonna wait it out to see how it unfolded

I am confused, however. Dunham seemed a bit too convinced too quickly that Mitch wanted to save her. If that was the case, why was he so quick to tell his wife to kill her? It's just very conflicting. Kinda frustrated that no one mentioned this.

That being said, I do believe he wanted to save her. It just doesn't explain why he wanted to kill her to avoid suspicion. Why go through the trouble of saving her if you'll just kill her because she figures you out?

Also, it seems like the writers are in full throttle now to eventually get Dunham and Peter together.
It's just a matter of Olivia's life not becoming more important then him getting exposed. Remember Mitch told his wife that Olivia was considered unstable, so killing her at their home could reasonably be considered self defense.
IMO the best episode of the season. I hope they get a number 2.

I knew it was something as its not always there. I haven't really looked around the internet though for this show much. I'm sure there are a bunch sites and theories like there are for Lost.

I have no idea what is going on haha...but it's fun to watch.

My least favorite part was the Jack Bauer-esque escape by Dunham. Seriously guys?

Can't wait for the new episode Tuesday!

God I hope not...a love story/relationship is not necessary in every single show.
