Sweet. I was thinking that I was going to have to go to St. Augustine to go to the IMAX theatre there.Comment

Theres an Imax about 1 1/2 hours away from here. I'm buying tickets to the Wednesday 12:01 showing in Mesquite TX, if any of you other OSers, it'd be cool to meet up or something.PSN-Shugarooo

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I have a Question, I ordered 3 tickets for this movie but I dont have a printer to print them out. Do I just go to the kiosk at the theater to get my tickets?PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
IMAX?
That's how my IMAX does it. There's a kiosk where you just slide your credit card and your tickets print out for you there.Comment

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Nope, just regular tickets. I ordered them online and then they said something about printing them, then there was a option that if you didnt have a printer you use your credit card to get the tickets from the kiosk. I am just trying to verify that. I ordered them for a Regal Cenema.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
The wife and I went along to a premier of this last night (we got tickets through a local radio station i have done advertising through) and it was pretty good.
It had alot more comedy than the first one with jokes being cracked left right and centre and while i thought the plot was a bit all over the place it was still very enjoyable.
I don't know if it's just me but sometimes there is just SO much going on at once on the screen that it almost overwhelms the senses and can be a bit hard to follow at times. I'm looking forward to the blu ray version where i can watch the more extreme action sequences in slow mo so i can properly see what is going on.Comment

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Ah Jeez! MORE comedy then the first one? It's like these people don't take the source material seriously. I'm one of those people that kinda liked the humor but I don't want it being turned into a comedy show. Look, I know it's not exactly easy to 50 foot tall robots fighting all over the place seriously but to treat it as a joke is a little sad IMO.

As for the action, I found the first one to be overwhelming at times too. I was kinda hoping they'd go for a slower and more epic approach with this one, guess not.
SpoilerI hear that you see Cybertron in this movie. If so, how much do you see of it and is it impressive?Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I'm pretty sure that's all you have to do is go to the kiosk or the ticket booth. I've done it before, albeit not at a Regal theater.Nope, just regular tickets. Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Yeah this film is a bit of a wisecrack-athon and they have even added two token "ghetto" characters to the autobot's who drop a fair few of the cliche'd "i'll bust a cap you ***" type comments so it can seem a bit forced.Ah Jeez! I guess with a film like this you have to go in with the mindset that you are going to see a big budget popcorn flick with insane special effects but not the greatest dialog at times or you'll be dissappointed. Now with that being said the audience was absolutely rolling in the aisles at times so it obviously works it's just got the typical Michael Bay sledgehammer subtlety that we have come to expect.
As for your question (you might want to wait til you've seen it before reading these spoilers):Spoileryeah megatron does travel back to his master on cybertron once he is resurrected where they are "breeding" more decepticons but the planet itself didn't look too amazing imo and basically looked like a dead planet covered in spikes.
One thing i wasn't aware of is that decepticon's could transfer into human's? has this ever been in transformers in the past?Comment

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
It's less intelligent than your modern superhero flick. Just lots of explosions, a witty protagonist, hot chick, and big robots fighting. I'm sure there is some kind of a plot, but it won't be important. I don't know if a fan of Spiderman and Iron Man would dig it. If you liked Iron Man for its special effects and the "fun" tone then yeah you might like Transformers.Comment
