Nah, I was talking about the silver corvette that was in the opening scene. I don't remember seeing it after that except maybe in one of the hanger scenes. Just wondering what happened to all the other autobots, since there was only a few in the final fight.

I don't think there was a Corvette. There was a silver Audi R8 in that opening scene though.

Anybody else find it weird that Optimus Prime got soooo good from the first movie? I mean the guy was taking on 5 Decpticons plus Megatron and winning, but in the first he couldn't even handle Megatron

LOL. I noticed this too. The dude was straight up Bruce Lee other than the part where Megatron sneaked up on Prime.

Also, how the human weapons were tearing up the Decepticons at the end. In the first movie, they were barely a nuisance. Remember in the first how Scorponok took everything that gunship had and lived.

Not always though. StarScream also was really ruthless, cunning and smart. And sometimes didn't back down from Megraton and even challenged him. StarScream also was in charge a couple times.

They could have made him a kiss *** but without making him a bitch in this movie. His highlights were getting beat with his own arm and flying around. Since he is one of my favorites, I was very disappointed.

He was ruthless in the cartoons, but for the most part he failed pretty much every time he tried to usurp the throne from Megatron.

I would have liked to see him try and double cross Megatron though like he always did in the cartoons.

I'm glad they made it that way though. They definitely had him as too weak in the first movie. In the cartoons Prime would always woop on Megatron aside from the time that Megatron took all the Decepticons powers prior to fighting Prime.

Though it probably wasn't their intent and though he never used this as an excuse, perhaps it was because Prime was confined to the streets of Mission City last time and had humans all around him that he tried to avoid killing whilst taking on Megatron. As you could see in his fighting scenes, he really explored the space he was in (needed more cowbell lol), as he would have to be inventive somehow since he isn't as strong as all three of them combined.

just got back from seeing it, thought it was good enough. the action sequences were top notch and i figure i got my money's worth in terms of entertainment, which is all that matters to me...

Just got back from the 10:50pm showing and I must say: MEH. The movie didn't have the magic the first one had. I don't know exactly how to put it, but there was nothing magically about it.

The first just did something, seeing Optimus transformer for the first time and especially the scene where the Transformers first arrived with the orchestra playing in the background was beautiful; this movie didn't have that same effect.

In all serious, i felt like the last 30-60 mins of the movie was a drag. They could of summed up that entire thing within 30 mins. It's almost as if Bay was given a $100 million dollar budget, got to around 60 million when the movie was done and decided to pour the other 40 million into the last scene which was such a drag.

The story started out well enough but took an immediate backseat once the action started to roll and even with that, there were too many quick shots in some sequence which made it hard to see exactly what was going on. Also ALL the Decepticons looked exactly alike. No Autobot or even Decepticon got a lot of screen time except for those two ruffian Autobots. None of the characters from the Autobots or even Decepticons were explored.

Rumor has it Bay wants to take a back seat with the series for a while, i hope that it true. Lets get a director who doesn't just care about blowing stuff up but can deliver a coherent story as well.

Absolutely loved it as I did the first. REALLY hope there is a third!
