I enjoyed it, my biggest gripe was the language. Robots = kick butt, Megan Fox = kick butt. Sure I would have changed some story up but hey its a blow up action movie. In reality the plot was thin so they elaborated with some random chaos. But hey that is what I like. Should look great on Blu Ray.

Oh yes, one other big problem I had with this movie:

The fact that Sam had this whole "destiny." I mean, this part really took the cake and changed everything that the first one was about. I could go on and on about this, but it would probably end up in me breaking the TOS a couple of times. It just really blew up what little suspension of disbelief I had with this franchise. "Sam's destiny," good god.

The Matrix of Leadership was. As soon as they said the name I was rolling. Thats the name of the key? It sounds like something you get in elementary school as a part of character building. I just thought that was hilarious.

the movie was not as good as the first, i was extremely happy to see my favorite transformer starscream in a better role.......... but my wife and i had to scratch our head

after realizing that one of the twins said they couldnt read, but what really made me scratch my head when i realized one of them had a gold tooth. hey it is what it is though some things will never change and im ok with that.

The Matrix of Leadership was in the old animated two hour long animated movie back in the late 80's/early 90's. So that was faithful to the roots of the franchise.

Saw an IMAX showing of this tonight. I enjoyed it. Felt the same as I did after seeing the last one: nostalgia, lots of action, had some good laughs, good popcorn flick.

I nice added bonus: Megan Fox in slow-motion on IMAX. Outstanding!

By the way...

I loved the play between Megatron and Starscream. Total throwback to the cartoon. I'm glad it showed up this time. I had hoped to see it in the last one.

Only problem is Starscream acted like a little bitch this whole movie. Even his voice sounded different in this one compared to the last one, almost Gollum-like.

I disagree. I think this movie is far better than the 1st movie. There's more action, faster character development, and a long list of surprises here and there. There are a very few films that I couldn't stop watching and this one is a rare one that held my interest. One possible scene where I had to look away was when that guy striped down to his underwear. Come on, Dreamworks, this is a kid's movie. I think we can do without the scene with the almost nude male rear end. Gross. Wolverine's movie failed to impress me in the slightest bit. This film is easily my pick for the best action movie of the year.

Not always though. StarScream also was really ruthless, cunning and smart. And sometimes didn't back down from Megraton and even challenged him. StarScream also was in charge a couple times.

They could have made him a kiss *** but without making him a bitch in this movie. His highlights were getting beat with his own arm and flying around. Since he is one of my favorites, I was very disappointed.

Loved it.

Probably not as good as the first one (mainly due to length) but a perfectly fine pop corn flick.

Also, this movie is making bank! Pulled in 60 million dollars on Wednesday. That broke the Wednesday record by 16 million dollars.

I loved the movie. Thought it was funny, great action, and the IMAX scenes looked FANTASTIC. It was literally jaw dropping. I'm going to see this again and can't wait for the blu-ray. Got exactly what I wanted out of this movie: entertainment.

How do you know that Jazz was "black"?

I'll make the argument that Jazz is white (not that I care either way). I honestly can't remember him from the original transformers cartoons but I've been watching the new animated series with my son (it is different) and Jazz is protrayed as a white guy in those. There is one episode where all of the autobots become human (sort of a matrix like reality) and Jazz is drawn as a white cop with a moustache.

I haven't seen the movie and the animated series is different but I thought I would throw that tidbit out there.
