Idris is only signed for 6 episodes while Carell is signed for the forseeable future... Michael Scott isn't going anywhere unless it's a Dwight-working-at-Staples type thing. I can imagine him quitting and having some big dust-up but then crawling back when he realizes he has a big tab at the Magic Shop to pay down.

Plus the episode that this likely takes place in "Two Weeks Notice" airs March 26th while the show's season ends in mid-late May (likely the 21st). I have no doubt that he quits or intends to quit, but there's no way the show continues without the Michael character, especially with Carell signed-on still. It would take him leaving the show to focus on films for that to actually happen, I think.

Yeah I also don't think that it would be long term either. More about how this season ends. I could also see Jim not Dwight leaving with him. Dwight liking the new dominant Character Idris plays. While Jim not.

Pretty lame tonight. Didn't help the season at all. Anyone else get the sense that Dwight is losing his basic appeal as a character. It's almost like he's becoming more normal.....which for the sake of the show is not good.

I thought it was alright, i expected more out of the Jim/Pam/Phyllis/Bob lunch, seemed they ran out of time there.

The V-Day party was kidna of meh, but it had its moments

I really liked that one actually. Michael's interactions with the lady getting her blood drawn were actually charming and not terrible, so that was a bit of a surprise with how awkward Michael has been lately. I loved when he woke up and said, "Waitress? Where'd the woman go?"

Highlights:

Meredith tearing the wings off the cupid and then saying, "There, now it's just a stupid baby."

Dwight's penis trick -- he makes a little subtle face motion when he "does it" and that had me dying.

Kevin finally getting past his breakup -- lots of funny Kevin moments in this one

Pam and Jim's shared look of horror when Bob said, "You want some meat?" and proceeded to feed Phyllis

Creed stealing a bag of blood while Stanley and Phyllis were trying for extra cookies in the tag. I wonder if it's going with the extra chairs that he needed that one episode. Creed is so very awesome.

Michael and Kelly's discussion about the romance with the blood bank lady -- "I think our bloodbags touched." Kelly: "Awwwwwwww!"
