THought that ep was pretty funny. The murderhouse and reactions were pretty dang funny. Nice to see Lily back, for 5 seconds.

I get the feeling that next week will be a Barney/Robin issue and Ted will stumble and meet a girl and then it goes to end of season........the ole cliffhanger.

Nothing really big happened. Next week we'll get the goat, Barney tells Robin, and Ted runs into another girl. At least that's my guess. Oh and the movie Tony wrote will be brought up again. Cause Ted said more on that later.

I think ultimately Stella's little pep talk will lead Ted to his wife, but it's not in the direct route i thought it would be when she "re-entered" the picture last week

I really wanted the goat, but I think they should wait until next season, because there's been way too much build up for a half-assed, missing two main characters show.

They should have just made Lily pregnant or had her get fat. I think either one would have had hilarious storylines.

Typical "meh" episode after one with a lot of info. Sitcoms always do this. They'll have that throw-away episode to balance out the season. Next week should be a good episode.

I wouldn't call this a wasted effort of a episode.

I think it did a good job of establishing Ted's mindset about finding the "one".

My opinion is that they're trying to justify that his inability to connect to this parade of girlfriends is to be blamed on his burning desire to find "the One". Just as he gives up looking for perfection, the perfect one for him will show up.

As we seem to be approaching the point that we meet the "Mother" (assuming we haven't already), This is a pretty important bit of casting if the show plans on continuing.

I keep running actresses names/faces through my head and one just keeps getting stuck for some reason... Natalie Morales from the cancelled "The Middleman".

She's funny, She's hot, and I'm guessing she's available to take a role.

Anybody else got a thought on this?

I hated when Frasier did that though, with Daphne getting fat on the show and they wasted a couple episodes on her and Niles with that storyline. Even though before Lily left, I didn't like her character at all, I will admit that the show does feel a little off without her. As even with great episodes, the three day rule one for example, you can tell that something is missing w/o her being there.
