The Barney and Robin stuff is just confusing. No way that works out.

Compared to the BBT finale it was pitiful.

At least it makes last weeks episode make sense now. We saw the mother,just the back of her head. (unless she was late for class or out sick that day)

I thought it was pretty decent finale. Seems they were pretty confident they were getting picked up for another season..i really wouldnt want them to rush the mother storyline..

And it ties in with running into Stella. He saw Tony and he hooked him up with the job where Ted would meet his wife.


I think there's a lot of hope for next season. I think it'll be a great one.

I enjoyed the show and next season should be fun, though I'm one of those who prefer the mystery over the mother (clues, etc) rather than us just finding out now and the show still going on.

I kinda hope they keep teasing us, because if it's straightforward then the cool show might end.

That's basically how I feel.

I see this show as more of "the adventures of Ted, Robin, Marshall, Lily, and Barney" than "how Ted meets his wife."

To me, I far prefer a funny episode than one that brings us much closer to the mother. To me, the mother story is the backdrop to a great show. I think if they just focused on the mother, the show wouldn't be as good.

Ugh, that was a terrible finale. Outside of the ending (him taking the teaching job and having the mother be in that class) it was pretty weak. They hyped the goat for 2 effing years, and that was it? Boo

The whole story line was kind of weak, the Robin/barney stuff was more confusing and illogical than anything else and the ending left alot to be desired. Woohoo, they all jumped to a patio, and did nothing.

The best season finale was Season 1, that was pretty dang good. Still looking forward to the show next year, but just didnt like how this ended.

I kinda want to find out the mother soon just so that whole storyline can be done with. The weakest episodes are the mother progression storylines. They used to be good when random girls would have 3-4 story arcs, like the bakery girl or stella's first few episodes.

When Ted dates Robin, even though we know she's not the mother, some of the episodes are still great, and ted is funnier, so they can do the same with the mother.

On a side note, for a show that prides itself on continuity what happened to Barney not being able to drive. I just saw on lifetime the episode where Marshall's car breaks down and Ted trying to teach Barney how to drive. Barney went from being horrified of driving to expensive italian cars.

That episode was hilarious. Barney was barely driving and he was scared out of his mind. LOL

Last night's finales was alright. I expected a little bit more being that it was a finale.

But isn't that how pretty much everyone goes (not the Italian cars, but the driving fast and reckless)? I went from terrified to hit the gas pedal to seeing if my car could hit 100 on a high way at night over the course of about 4 months.
