I’m sure they will make enough on reruns for them to earn a nice paycheck. I agree It seems like several of the regulars are destined to be pigeon holed into these characters. I wonder if they will try and do another spin off of some kind

- Maybe Raj to get married in the finale?
- Amy, Penny or both get pregnant?
I would laugh if in the finale they all are moving out of the apartment building and they see a mechanic fixing the elevator.

I really should stop reading comments, especially IGN (ironically, it's one of the sites I used most before joining OS).

People bashing BBT so much in comments. That article you posted alone has top comments like "Most overrated show of all time" and "It should've been cancelled after season 1".

I'll never get why people are so obsessed with talking about things they hate. Why even click on links just to bash stuff?

There's many types of shows on TV I hate, but I'm not gonna fill a comment section being like "why do people watch this show", "This show sucks", "just cancel the show already".

There was a real article somewhere where the TV writer was so happy it's being cancelled. I think there's a big hate out there for BBT just being geeky things and not representing autism that well...

8 simple rules had massive potential...S1 was so funny with John Ritter.

Definitely worked out for Kaley Cuoco though.

I've always been very supportive of the show but I thought last season was the worst in spite of a great season finale (IMO). I hope the series goes out with a bang. I will really miss those superhero themes.

I just read an article that said the show was a "well-oiled machine" requiring the cast to only work 3 1/2 days per week during production. Parsons must have really wanted to leave.

I don't think it's so much he wanted to leave, but just has done the show long enough and wants to do other things too.


Don't know why, but the season premieres this Monday(24). Also airs another new episode the Thursday of that week (27) and then airs Thursdays after that. I originally heard the season premiere is October 8th with Young Sheldon the following week. Guess CBS wanted to change stuff.

Yeah, I'm just saying you're making that kind of coin working 3 1/2 days a week for only 25 or so weeks out of the year. If the reason is he wants to do other things he still REALLY wanted to leave.

Exactly. I mean I know he's producing other stuff, but I can't really see him being some huge, huge star per se. Look at Friends, it's not like everyone goes onto huge things.

Seems like a great gig to be leaving, but he's probably set for life so can choose whatever he wants.
