Don't care what the reviews says. That was epic. One of the best trilogies I've ever seen. Lost count at how many times I marked out.

First part of the film felt so rushed. The middle towards the end of the film was spectacular till we find out he's alive and Blake is Robin. I honestly felt disgusted that Nolan did that.

Not going to comment too much on it tonight, but just got out of the midnight showing.

Very disappointed. This movie wasn't epic, it was forced. Very much so and the gripes about it being too long are definitely warranted.

Also makes me resent them more for ditching the Riddler for Bane's character. I'll go more in depth tomorrow when I have some time to let it marinate.

You seriously thought they were going to end the trilogy by killing off Bruce? That's just never going to happen.

And Blake isn't Robin. His middle name was Robin, hence the "use your fu name" comment. He'd become Batman because Bruce is gone. The Robin add on was nothing more than an Easter egg for the fans. That's it.

This movie was a big disappointment

I'll try to make this a list because I'm tired:

Bad/cheesy dialogue- Some cheesiness is to be expected but there are some awful lines as well as just some awkward and very wooden sounding dialogue.

Stuff that just didn't make any sense- Batman is stuck on a road with about a thousand police officers chasing him and he stops, they stop, then they just stare at him while he turns the conveniently-placed truck into a ramp and drives off. Then there's the scene at the end where they need to get the big *** nuclear bomb to the one place but instead of having Selina Kyle, Gordon, or Batman try to get in the truck and drive it to where it needs to be, they decide to shoot rockets at the truck holding the bomb that could destroy the city.

Terrible, terrible fight scenes- Christopher Nolan and his fight choreographer apparently haven't learned a damn thing since the last movie cause these fight scenes were awful. Except for the very end when Bane got his mask messed up and fought wild, it looked like everyone was just walking through the fights. Everyone moved extremely slow, you could actually see the punches being pulled, and everything just lacked any feeling of impact.

Random characters popping up out of nowhere, then disappearing- Maybe the Daggett guy was in the first movie and I just forgot but how do you have him and his weird looking buddy show up as the early antagonists without introducing them? I had no idea who those two guys were but it seemed like we were supposed to know beforehand.

Alfred's whining and running away- This was just annoying

The Spielberg-esque ending- I didn't want Batman to die but if you're going to do all this set-up about him not fearing. then later on fearing, death and how he needs to sacrifice everything, don't make this big happy ending where everything works out in the end. Oh yeah, and the guy that everyone thought was Robin just happened to be named Robin even though Nolan talked **** about the character since the first one came out.

Seemingly every major character knowing Batman's identity- There was pretty much no reason for Bruce Wayne to even wear a mask since everyone was able to guess who Batman was.

Bane sounding like his mask was a loudspeaker- This one is nitpicky but it seemed like after the first cut where the executives complained about Bane's voice not being audible enough, Nolan just said **** it and made Bane's voice as loud as he possibly could. It didn't even sound like it was coming from Tom Hardy's mouth, it always sounded like he was a narrator yelling over everything.

The overt political statement- It was easy to ignore in The Dark Knight but this just beat you over the head with the message Nolan was trying to make. I won't say anything else about it but it got extremely irritating.

Oh and I almost forgot about Bruce Wayne somehow walking from a prison in some random country in the middle of nowhere all the way back to America and Gotham. With as long as this movie is, they could've taken some time to explain how the hell he got back.

In my ranking of Christopher Nolan movies, this is at the bottom.
