Some of these critiques are, for lack of a better term, laughable.
      Spoiler

This movie was amazing. Not sure why everyone wants to compare this to TDK.

Holding strong at 87% on Rotten Tomatoes (DAMN GOOD!).

Does everyone have to like it?

I like it a lot and it's a very good movie but with Nolan standards its not his best.

I'm probably with the minority with this but I thought this was the worst of the 3. I still liked it but i didn't think it was close to TDK and I really enjoyed the orgin story of Batman with BB.

You may be in the minority, but I don't think it's as small as you think on here.

Finally saw it at our IMAX theater tonight. I did it. Made it all the way to the movie without having seen a single commercial or trailer for the movie. Made it without having had anyone talk about the movie to me at all. Without seeing a single review, positive or negative. Without even seeing a single opinion. Went into it with a completely fresh, unbiased mindset.

Absolutely loved it. Incredible. Seeing it again tomorrow, and again next Saturday. Can't freakin' wait. Now I can finally go back through this thread.

Calling other peoples opinion laughable is just as egregious.

We all interpret things in different ways. Doesn't make any one way right or wrong. Thinking there is one in judging films could be deemed "ignorant", and it wouldn't be too harsh in this case.

Yup, TDK is probably my favorite movie of all time, so I was very, very excited heading into this. But I did not want to have anyone's thoughts, not even a small thought, to affect my expectations heading into the film. Very glad I made the effort to not see any trailers. Definitely took some work though. Had to bring headphones with me everytime I went to see a movie lol.

Just got through reading the thread, and I can understand some of the critiques I've seen. A lot seem to be valid. None of them bugged me at all. Loved the movie and can't wait to see it again.

That's how I feel. I can understand people's complaints but even seeing the movie a second time looking for them and with all of those in my head none of them seemed to bother me at all. It's just different preferences and tastes and all that. Neither side is right or wrong...I'm just glad I'm on the side that enjoyed the movie.

I did the same. I never watched one trailer, I think I saw one picture, never watched any commercials on it I ignored my best friend whose obsession w/ this makes Beantown's look like nothing.

I first got out the movie and was ready to kick *** and blow up **** and thought it was the best of the trilogy.

After time passed, I don't think it's better than TDK, but that's fine and it was still awesome. I'll be seeing it again later this week. I also kept telling myself Joker wouldn't be topped. I was right, but damnit if Bane wasn't the man.

Anne Hathaway stole the show for me. She became Cat woman instead of the hot chic. She even had something as little as the walk down.

I've also been a fan of Keeton's Batman, but Bale is now the man.

To see a grown man with a cape and mask on as well as a bat shield on his arm and he going back and forth through the theater smiling like this is nomal.....
