Batman 3 news/Rumor included are Dick Grayson, Riddler and LEX LUTHER...What!!!!!!!

The Lex Luther rumor was denied in that very article, while "Dick Grayson" may be a character there will be no Robin appearance as long as Bale and Nolan are working on Batman...and the Riddler has, more-or-less, been the big rumor from the beginning.

The only way i would accept Luthor in this movie if it follows No Man's Land, but that's impossible based on where in the Batman mythos these movies are.

Riddler would be cool if he was a Zodiac killer type doing all of these super violent murders leaving clues around. Gotham thinks it's Batman killing these people, while Batman and Gordon try to figure out whats REALLY going on.

I really am not getting this "Depp is a huge name" deal that seems to be going on.

Is he any bigger than Morgan Freeman or Heath Ledger were, especially a Heath Ledger coming off Brokeback Mountain where he was nominated for every award in existence?

If we were talking about Will Smith, Tom Cruise, or Brad Pitt I might agree, but I'd put Depp in the category of Denzel Washington and Leo where they're certainly big name actors but they're big name actors because they do a very, very good job of acting.

Are you kidding me, Deep is just as big or bigger then any of those actors, I mean are you really serious,. Deep is bigger teh cruise anyway and Ledger. Deep is a great actor and I would take him over any of those guys.

urgh, well I can see that working for the "real world" effect that Nolan would be striving for but I prefer my Riddler to be a bit above that and pulling off more elaborate crimes that while it may contain murder it isn't blatant out and out mowing down of innocents.

I see Riddler manipulating city government or the police force in some way in order to pull off a crime that affects the entire city of Gotham.

Looks like the search may soon be over and Nolan will be going for some unknowns. Assuming that both these guys can really act and based on looks alone, that Ciaramello guy seems to have that creepy, nerdy look that is necessary. Not liking the other guy. His look is too nerdy. I guess we'll find out soon enough if this is true. In Nolan we trust.

I completely agree. Riddler is probably the best 'criminal' of the Batman universe. Joker is the best villain/killer....but Riddler is the one who can completely trick everyone and pull of a crime that leaves the police and Batman guessing.

Random, but I saw Crispin Glover in Hot Tub Time Machine and just gave me a reminder that he would work real well as the Riddler.
