I wouldn't be too happy if Two-Face returned for two reasons:

    1) Christopher Nolan already declared him dead.
    2) Even for Two-Face's limited screen time, his character already got a little stale. We get it, you flip a coin because it's the fair way to do things. I don't know, I just hope he's still not that stale.

Other than that, I completely trust the Nolan's and Goyer to take care of business properly with any villains they have on screen. I just didn't expect it is all (much like no Riddler, much like the movie's title).
    1) Two-Face wasnt declared dead, Harvey was.
    2) I agree.

    Recast the Joker.

I like "Returns" more than "Rises", but the title is okay with me.

Under no circumstances do I want that to happen. Not in Nolan's version of Batman.

I'm not really going to get into this that much, but Two-Face and Harvey Dent are the same person. Let's not make this some "symbolic" thing that Harvey is only dead in the sense that you're only getting some vengeful maniac out for the rest of the time, I mean that Harvey Dent's body is now a lifeless corpse. Call him Dent, call him Two-Face... doesn't matter. That thing is getting autopsied and going six feet under into a casket. That's what I mean by "dead," and Christopher Nolan confirmed that last year.

            Recast the Joker.
This is something else he also confirmed wouldn't happen. You know what would be amazing? If there was footage left on the cutting room floor for TDK that has some more Joker stuff to put into this movie. Maybe it's a shot or two of him in Arkham with a couple of lines, who knows? At the very least, we just might get a Heath Ledger cameo and we don't even know it yet.

By the way, did Nolan say he will for sure shoot the entire film in IMAX?

As awesome as this would be if it was all in IMAX, I don't think it will be. In the interview he says he's shooting using high definition and IMAX cameras, which should mean that we'll have the shifting aspect ratios like TDK had.

Re: Batman 3 news and rumors.

Recasting Joker has to be one of the worst ideas I've read... HELL NO. Ledger's performance was not only one that was so amazing that no one else would pull it off, but I already was annoyed that Rachel was played by two different people, no WAY would I accept someone as high profile as Joker having the same thing done. And again, it would just be too damn impossible.

Seriously, not to be to mean about it, but that is just a bad bad BAD idea.

I could swear the whole point of the Harvey Dent funeral was to "cover up" the fact he had become two-face to the public.

That doesnt explain how he got away after the fall or whatever.

Ok, so take Harvey out of the movie and no riddler, joker.

A mob movie isn't something I want to see without a dynamic villian. Especially after the Joker broke the mob so easily.

What about Azrael or Bane Mob storylines? Where it becomes a bruce being drawn out and overwhelmed with his job as batman?

What if, since Nolan isn't much of a blabbermouth, he confirmed no Riddler just for the heck of it. Like, "There I gave you an answer, now get off my back and wait for the movie!" Still keeping my hopes up for The Riddler. We've got 2 years, folks. Plenty of news to come.

                          Catwoman. I want Catwoman.

I don't think Nolan would lie to us just to get us off his back. If anything saying The Riddler isn't in the film would make it harder on him.

As far as Dent goes, according to the script he broke his neck.

"Dent lies at the bottom of the hole, his neck broken," the stage direction, written by brothers Jonathan and Christopher Nolan, reads. "DEAD." (Capital letters their emphasis, not ours.)

Love the no 3-D. Movies like this don't need a gimmick.

And I would have called it "Dark Knight: Resurrection"
