Nightwing angle would be pretty interesting.

I agree that a Nightwing angle would be cool but wouldnt that seem out of order without Robin?

Yep, there would need to be some sort of build up... don't know how that would work.

Yeah, it'd have to be a new take on Nightwing, kind of like it seems Nolan has in store for Bane and Catwoman, but it would work a lot better than a under-developed young male running around in a bright red/yellow suit.

I'm hoping for a Knightfall-esque plot with JGL as Azrael.

As for Mr. Reese. I wondered about it too, but the name is different and I can't see Nolan messing with that. Nigma makes sense.

I can see Bruce Wayne holding a card addressed to a E. Nigma. Him saying "E. Nigma?" And then Edward stepping forward with, "Edward Nigma. How can I help you...Mr. Wayne, correct?"

Followed by 80% of the males in the audience passing out and waking up again only to see Hathaway in her Catwoman get-up and needing to then excuse themselves from the theater for a quick bathroom break.

That would be the greatest movie of all time. Too bad thats 3 movies in itself.

That would be as close to "marking out" (to use a wrestling term) in a movie theater as I could get.

And as for the Knightfall story - that's the thing, there are four or five Batman graphic novel stories that could make amazing movies: Hush, Knightfall, The Long Halloween, Year One.

That said, I'd rather have him as another character.

And here's a picture from BoF of Hardy that makes me even more excited that he's going to be apart of a Batman movie:

Hell, he might not even be called Robin at any point. But there are ways to make Robin work. If I can get him talking again, I'll post his idea on here.
Batman is always best when he works solo imo.

I think that could work but I'd use the Red Robin outfit that the BNG posted earlier in the thread. It's a real great costume though maybe in the movie world the red would be closer to a maroon.

You owe it to yourself to read it. One of the best Batman stories ever IMO. In fact a couple years ago the Comics Should Be Good blog did a reader survey of the 100 best storylines in comic book history and this was the top Batman storyline chosen by the people and was overall #4 on the list.
