Anyway, from a trailer which is composed mostly of shots that are 2-3 seconds long maximum, I find it hard to determine any kind of visual theme or pinpoint a distinctive tone in the camera work (objective v. subjective). The shots that are in the trailer look amazing as is (well, hopefully the football scene looks better) and while the color scheme of this film doesn't present itself, I like what Nolan has shown us thus far. I know you're far from familiar with comic books, but there are distinct comic-book visual points being hit upon in a very artful way, but emotionally heavy way.

The only analysis my post had was on the filming style, and it was only based on the fact they are filming many more IMAX scenes.

The rest was in response to your suggestion on how the tone in the camera work was of some style, and all I said was that he'll also probably be adjusting colors as he did in his previous films. The picture comparisons were all they were... just picture comparisons. Whatever jmood was going on about has absolutely nothing to do with what I posted, although the writing style was strikingly similar.

It was making fun of your extremely long posts on topics that generally don't warrant being discussed in-depth and frequently go into extreme nitpicking and comparisons of things that shouldn't be compared.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Do you even know what the "comparisons" were? There wasn't any nitpicking whatsoever. I was showing Fresh Tendrils how Nolan tints his movies after they are filmed. There was nothing more to the post, other than there being a lot of substance.

Would the replay booth still be functionable after that?

I'm pretty sure the TD is coming back, there had to be some holding in there.

I wasn't just talking about everything in that specific post or just this thread. As far as nitpicking, that entire post was the definition of making a mountain out of a molehill and what made it especially ridiculous was writing that essay based on quick cuts from a 2 minute trailer for a movie that isn't out for over half a year.
