Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I don't like the gun, but that's the only thing that really bugs me.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Heels. (If we're not being sarcastic)
I, for one, don't have a problem with anything. If at the end of the movie the costumes are the only thing we're gonna be nitpicking about, then I'd say Nolan has more than delivered.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I don't mind the Catwoman costume it kinda has a mix of the old and new style sensibilities to me. The domino mask and little cat ears thing reminds me so much of the old '60s series but the rest of the costume is definitely modern though i'm not too sure about the gun being in her hands. I'm sure Catwoman would use a gun without hesitation but I always think of her being stealthy enough that she wouldn't get into a situation where she absolutely needs one.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I'll definitely be getting this.
Not only will The Dark Knight Rises be heading to a cinema near you come July 20th, but the story will also be hitting book shelves.
That's because Titan Books today announced their acquisition of The Dark Knight Rises official tie-in novel.
With the film's story shrouded in secrecy, the book's plot is being kept tightly under wraps, but it will be written by Greg Cox, whose previous novelisations include Ghost Rider, Daredevil and the Underworld movies.
"Batman is one of the most iconic characters of popular culture," Titan Publisher Nick Landau said. "We're tremendously excited to work with Warner Bros. on the novelization of The Dark Knight Rises, especially since it is the culmination of everything Christopher Nolan has done with his amazing trilogy. This is a part of motion picture history."Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
So for those who "read books before they see their respective movie adaptations," is there any exception to this since not only does it come out at the same time, but the movie was technically made before the book?Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I don't know why anyone would read the book first when it comes to this movie. With movies like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Twilight, etc, that are books being adapted into movies then I understand, but for this it makes no sense. You might as well just go read whatever spoilers are floating around online.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Speaking of which, I read a pretty major one the other day on slashfilm.com. They reported it as a rumor, but I could see it being true. If it is true, holy **** I can't wait.
