Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerJGL isn't nightwing or Robin his name in the film is John Blake. The first robins name was as you all know Dick Grayson who later became Nightwing. The second Robin was Jason Todd who was killed by the Joker and the third was a chick.
There is pretty much no way in hell that DC is going to let the very powerful C.Nolan change his name. I know some very high level cats at DC and it just aint happening. The barely let Frank Miller make Robin a girl in the Dark Knight comic book series.Comment

He brought the batman movie franchise back from being a complete joke and made them a whole bunch of money in the process. And it could be a completely different Robin. They let him change parts of batman's history so I don't see why they would object from him making a new version of Robin.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

SpoilerDC comics and WB has given him liberty to do pretty much whatever he has wanted, but the buck stops at changing an Iconic characters name. It's not happening DC barely and I mean barely let Frank Miller turn Robin into a girl from the stories I've heard. No way in hell they let him change Robin's name I'm not even sure it's something Nolan would do in the first place.
I can't fathom a conversation where Jim Lee and the gang gives the ok for that. You might as well change Supermans name to Greg Smith.Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerConsidering there's been more than one Robin, I wouldn't see the problem with Nolan introducing a different character for that role. If its an existing Robin, their background and character is pretty much already set in stone. I honestly don't see why it would be a problem for Nolan to introduce a new Robin.

It wouldn't be like changing Superman's name since there's just one superman. It doesn't seem outlandish that Nolan would make a new Robin and with there being multiple Robin's I don't know why DC would have a problem with a new one for this movie series.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I still wouldn't rule out John Blake being tied to the mob. With the mob being a major part of Nolan's two Batman movies.
Either way, I'm sure he's not just there for the sake of being there.Comment

Christopher Nolan Screens 'Dark Knight Rises' for Warner Bros. Brass
News like this is just good to give yourself a reminder that not only is this film out there, and not only is it on its way to go, but that Nolan gave himself a few months to make sure that the final cut will be what he and the WB brass wants.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Crazy that this movie is only 4 months away from coming out. For whatever reason, the wait for this one doesn't seem nearly as bad or long as it was for TDK.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
