It'd be a good way to set up the Damian storyline for the future, but Nolan is strangely a-sexual in his films.

I was thinking about this last night. I really hope they do something that opens the door for the possibility of a future series of movies. It doesn't have to be Batman or Christian Bale as Batman, but Robin/Nightwing/someone else taking the mantle of Batman would be cool IMO.

I just really don't want to leave the Nolan Bat-verse. Everything is constructed so perfectly that it's going to suck when/if someone replaces Nolan or they just reboot everything completely.

Nolan and Emma Thomas (his right-hand woman) are going to be involved in producing and picking the successor to reboot the series once Nolan's tale is done this summer.

I thought I read that somewhere.

Hopefully there's carryover from the first three movies.

If they're ever going to do the Justice League, they have to start being in the same universe starting with Man of Steel.

Now, if they can just get the essence of this Batman trilogy into the new Batman/DC Movie universe...

I actually believe that might be where there are headed with the reboot. They want to do a JL movie but I would imagine that the current Nolan-verse cast would be too expensive to include plus all of the other characters, so they might as well work a Batman "reboot" into that universe.

Nolan's Bat-verse is great and I understand WB's want to include him in all the DC movie stuff since he's pretty consistent, but they need to find somebody of the same quality to bring in and freshen things up. Nolan's Bat movies are wonderful, but there's other sides to Bats aside from the overly dramatic and the black and grays. I'm not saying take it back to the Adam West side, but I wouldn't mind a more light-hearted and fun approach.

It would be nice to have some carry over. I'm tired of the first movie always having to drag us through an origin for the first half of the movie.

They can just do an Incredible Hulk. Nolan-verse happened, but now all these sci-fi concepts are popping up in his world.

Kinda clashes with the whole Superman is the first costumed superhero in the DC Universe but who cares? As long as it works!
