    Re: The Dark Knight Rises

By the way, those facts from that Empire article make me want to throw out a congratulations to Wally Pfister, Nolan's right-hand man as DP in most of his films. He'll be taking the director's chair in projects after TDKR, and I have every intention of giving a look at any film he's involved in hereon out.

If DC had some kind of plan that would be nice, but they're way behind Marvel in terms of handling their properties on screen.

Depends on the writer and what version of Superman they use. There have been some solid comic books with Superman. The ones where they make him more aggressive and angry. lol

There's a Public Enemies book where Batman gets Superman's powers and Superman is powerless. It does show how ordinary Superman really is though.

Anybody still think Hugo Strange makes an important appearance in this movie?

I have a feeling theres going to be a huge spoiler or twist no one saw coming....involving a character we havent seen or a character like JGL having a much bigger role.

According to Facebook advance tickets go on sale today.

Update: They go on sale at noon today, although it looks like only select theaters starting today (only one of the three around here is listed for a midnight opening, no IMAX times up yet). I will be buying some while at work.

Is it noon ET, or is it based on your time zone (i.e. the location of your theater)?

I've already resigned myself to the fact that I probably won't see it until Sunday of opening weekend or sometime during the first full week of release. **** these crowds.

Reserved four tickets for a midnight IMAX showing.

39 days is just too freaking long!

Got tickets for the midnight showing (regular theater) and the Saturday 2pm showing in IMAX.

Do I dare buy tickets for Friday and Sunday, too? I just might.

Won't catch me at any midnight showings. Opening night crowds are the worst and full of teenagers.

Most likely going to catch this sometime on Sunday during opening weekend. Probably at Showcase Cinema de lux at Patriots Place. They serve alcohol and this is the kind of movie that should be viewed while drinking cocktails.

Sorry, if these promotional posters have been posted already.
