Please, do not judge the character's merit by what you've seen in Batman Forever. That wasn't the Riddler. That was Jim Carrey high on crack in a leotard.
He doesn't read the comics or watch anything Batman-related not made by Nolan so he has no idea what the character is like.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

True, not from first-hand experience. People have explained the character to me, so I have a general idea... as I said, my post was of sarcasm. I was full on for Black Mask when people explained his character after this film was announced.

If anyone would play the Riddler I'd choose the dude who played Magneto in XMen first class/ the robot in Prometheus.

That guy could pull of the look, cunning, charm, and slight creepiness.

I fully expect the blu-ray to offer us hardcore fans the never-ending cut.

These normal folk can't handle that. But we can. Cause we can take it.

Generally, Nolan considers his theatrical cut to be the version that he wanted to be seen. He doesn't often supply us with any deleted scenes or extended editions, simply because they didn't end up being his final image of the film.

Normally directors make the right choice anyway. It's not like he'd have an "unrated edition" to speak of.

Still wondering if The Man of Steel will make a cameo towards the end of this film....after Batman has "risen."

How epic would that be to see Henry Cavill as Superman a year before the Chris Nolan-produced movie debuts?

What an epic way to end the trilogy, but leave the ending on a satisfying note by introducing the next great hero in the DC universe.....

Yeah, not at all a fan of a worlds colliding move with Nolan's Batman universe.

Right there with you. Not a superman fan at all, hopefully he stays as far away as possible from this film.

Wouldn't really be Nolan's style either, at least for these batman movies.

It would be cool, but I don't want it to happen. Superman steals enough of the shine as it is.

Which is crazy to me since he's the lamest of the major superheroes.
