* Catwoman will not be CGI-enhanced.

* A CGI Bane? "You'd have to ask Chris," he said. "I think he has his plan but we're at a very, very early stage on the picture at the moment." I'll go on the record and say that Bane will not be CGI nor will Hardy be CGI-enhanced either.

* As with BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT, Gotham City will be a digitally augmented real city.

On how Team Nolan came up with the story for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises:

"Lots of banging my head against the wall. [Laughs] No, we've been working through it for a long time. We're about 12 weeks away from shooting, and we'll start shooting in May."

"Selena Kyle. Yeah, that's going to be fun."

I wish he would of elaborated more on the first answer and at least given hints to any past stories he based this on, but whatever.

The second answer is interesting and I'm not surprised. I have a feeling we're not going to see a "true" Catwoman in the sense that she's in the costume and all that, as disappointing as that is.

Two-Face was totally out of character too. It shows you Joel Schumacher never read a Batman comic in his life. Both his films were garbage.

Tommy Lee Jones' Two-Face was the total let down for me. Absolutely terribly down. (I'm not slagging off TLJ)

There's definitely a reason why he's being tight-lipped. I read that they did screen tests with Hathaway in costume. Of course, that could mean lingerie or a business suit.

It may have been awful, but at least it had Alicia Silverstone in spandex, and Uma Thurmond as a sexy Ivy.

If I remember Silverstone had a bit of weight on her. Not bad in tights, but not Catwoman Tight.

As Clooney said, "That movie never should have been made".

Sooo....last night for whatever reason I had some thoughts about this movie. I don't know how or why it started, but it did. It's a lot of random-ness, but I feel the need to share it and it'd be fun to look back at this after the movie comes out. Feel free to nod your head in agreement or laugh, whichever one.

Remember those Batman vigilantes from the beginning of TDK? Was there really a point to them in that movie or were they just kinda there to be there? I think most would think they were just minor in the scheme of things, but what if there was a bigger reason for them and it only became clear in TDKR?

My thinking is that the whole idea of that was to show the influence Batman had on the streets of Gotham. The Batman fakes were basically the "grassroots" level start of something bigger, and that's more masked vigilantes up to the level of Batman running through Gotham. This is what leads to Catwoman running around through the city, and this is what leads to Dick Grayson/Nightwing (yes, I'm running with the idea of JGL as Grayson) being introduced as well. With Batman in hiding because of what happened at the end of TDK, there's a lack of a hero in Gotham and that's how those characters come in to play. Of course Catwoman wouldn't be the full-on "hero type" since she blurs the line between hero/villain a lot of times.

About the Dick Grayson thing, obviously Nolan and Bale have always said Robin won't be in their movies, but they've never said Dick Grayson/Nightwing wouldn't be. They could even just go with the idea that it's Dick Grayson as some random vigilante and not Nightwing, similar to how Bruce went about things before he became Batman in Batman Begins (ski mask and all that).

Anyways, the vigilante thing leads me to my next idea, and that's that if Batman has had the same influence on Gotham, why wouldn't The Joker influence some of the bad people in Gotham after how he nearly took the city over and showed that it's not the mob bosses running things anymore, it has to be someone/something more than that?

This opens the door for more "crazies" to let loose and become who they are. It could spark the creation of someone like The Riddler because they could play off of the idea that Edward Nygma was influenced by The Joker and thinks he could do the job Joker couldn't finish, or some type of motivation like that. I'm going to assume they're probably not going to introduce The Riddler since Nolan said he isn't (I'll take his word for it), but that doesn't mean Nygma couldn't be shown or hinted at at one point in the movie.

Also, to bring things to a close and bring the trilogy full-circle, I feel that Nolan is going to plant the idea that things have changed in Gotham, like Batman and Gordon wanted in Begins, but instead things have changed in a bad way in that they've created an even bigger monster. Even though they've gotten rid of the mob as it was originally known with the mob bosses like Falcone, Maroni, etc, Batman has created something bigger and much worse than what those mob bosses were and that's the true villains like Joker, Scarecrow, Riddler, Zsaz (can't remember if he died or not in BB) and Bane taking control of the crime scene in Gotham. Basically it would be a little similar to how Kick-*** was in that things were normal, but one person trying to become a hero and do the right thing set off a major chain reaction and created the entire idea of masked heroes and villains running the city.

This opens the door, assuming Nolan (or someone he chooses) would ever come back and do more Batman films with this setting, for the true comic book villains to be used. I'm not saying you're going to have Mr. Freeze running around in a big corny suit with a freeze gun, but it would make it more acceptable in the "Nolan-verse" to have all these crazy people with masks running through the city.

So, those are the ideas that ran through my mind last night. And yes, clearly I wasn't getting laid at any time during that point.
