I find the image paused on the screen tied in with your post rather hilarious.

I'm herring to the side of him not appearing in the movie at all. Nolan isn't much for flashbacks per se, just out-of-order techniques (things to exemplify the present, not necessarily to further explore past business). In this case, if Harvey doesn't matter for the present story, he won't be used to explain someone else's story either.

I kinda get the feeling that Bane will have a MMA feel to him. Hopefully its not too over the top.

          Re: The Dark Knight Rises

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is officially a member of The Dark Knight Rises cast, as Nolan confirmed he has been added.

Juno Temple seems to be another one who is going to be added to the cast, though looking at her resume I've never seen a movie with her in it before - she's in Atonement, The Other Boelyn Girl and various other random movies.

And as for who JGL is going to be playing...

I won't comment on who I think JGL is playing because I'm past the "think" part. It's going to be revealed shortly, FYI.

Well at least it's going to be revealed soon. It'll save us from racking our brains trying to figure out who he plays.

I'm very hype for this movie. The escalation theme is in full effect.

Yup - it's a great choice making him Falcone.

That, alone, just increased my hype for this movie by a lot. Perfect casting for that role.

                    Interesting...

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, long-rumored to be joining his Inception brethren in The Dark Knight Rises, will appear in director Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film. But a source close to the situation says that recent reports that Gordon-Levitt will play Alberto Falcone (a.k.a. the Holiday Killer) — the son of former mob kingpin, Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson) — are incorrect.
B.o.F has also picked up on this...

According to EW.COM, Joseph Gordon-Levitt IS in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, but NOT as Alberto Falcone. Wow.

                            Hugo Strange?

I know he doesn't fully look the part, but might as well throw it out there.

Not yet, but Jett is not usually wrong when he posts "rumors."

Yeah. If that's where it came from then I believe it.

I was pretty into the idea of JGL being Falcone for the sake of coming full-circle, but this is just as good.
