Re: The Dark Knight Rises
SpoilerNo I believe The miranda tate character will end up being Talia. Here is the excerpt from the novelization. Got the exact quote from another forum
From the journals of Ra's al Ghul: (The time of economic attack by the League of Shadows against Gotham City, pages 11-12) "My daughter, who is uncommonly mature for her age, last night told me that I am a 'self-appointed messiah.' I startled her by choosing to accept it as a compliment ... We have prosecuted our newest experiment for two and three-quarters years using Gotham City in the United States as our place of experimentation ... We have destabilized the business life of the city but have not destroyed it. A savior, in the form of a wealthy doctor, has come to the rescue." (Modern era, page 77) "I have begun to have thoughts that disturb me because they fill me with what I fear is a false hope. They concern my daughter Talia and Bruce Wayne. Talia is of an age to reproduce and carry my lineage forward into the new world I shall create. No man I have ever met until now has been worthy of mingling his genes with mine nor worthy of the company of my daughter." (Page 81) "If he continues to breathe two days from now I will allow myself to rejoice and I will summon Talia to return from Switzerland. It would be good to see my daughter once more."Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
So much for them spoiler tags.
(not much to say anyway I suppose, but I guess it's nicer to not know who's involved in the scene if possible... no worries bruh)Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
If someone is that concerned about spoilers, there is no reason for them to be in this thread before the release date.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Secondly, I believe I can pick and choose what kind of information/hype/content I would like to see about this film. Any updates about it simply excites me, even if I choose to see it or not.
Thirdly, that's why we have spoiler tags (and they have been used very appropriately so far). I don't think people just have to be shunned from threads just because there is pre-release stuff available, whether or not they want to be spoiled.
Lastly, I already unsubscribed from this thread... somehow I just can't keep out of it, though. As you can see, I'm still able to have discussions about this film without seeing a single thing but the (leaked at the time) trailer.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

First of all, it was a joke. He didn't really spoil anything; I was merely being sarcastic. I was only poking fun at his previous post when he said he would post information with spoiler tags.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Just remembered about the Spoiler tags... Sorry about that guys.
Also, Nolan really likes his multiple takes. We must have done this one scene about 14 times.
The film is being shot for IMAX (if there was ever any question) which also added to my day because they have to keep changing the film.Comment
