Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Neither film has shown Batman de-mask himself in one continuous shot, from the front, where you can originally see the black makeup around his eyes. Otherwise, his face would still have that blackness. This might be fine to see, but my point is that if he is ever de-masked in one shot, as long as you don't mind the makeup, it will be there.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Sorry, let me re-phrase...

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I may be writing a lot, but it's really not being overthought, and that's what I'm trying to explain. There's a reason they won't ever de-mask him outside of not wanting to do it, and this is it. Plain and simple.
I didn't want to make that last post, but hey... I wouldn't be me if I didn't.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
I'm just giving you a hard time, you didn't have to delete that post. If they wanted to show Batman taking off the mask and going from Batman to Bruce without the black eyes they would probably do one of these:
1) Have a mask made specifically for that scene that doesn't require the makeup
2) Show mask face. Cut. Come back to face masked and have Bale take off the mask without having any make up.
I don't think it would be that hard to do. I understand the technical part of why they literally cannot de-mask him, but if they wanted to do a one-shot, no cut shot of him taking off the mask they could do it pretty easily.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
No matter. I don't expect it to happen in this film at all, especially after that Bale quote.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
The ending speech of The Dark Knight still gives me goosebumps and makes my face flush, just like it did on opening night. So good.

Re: The Dark Knight Rises
Alright fellas. I think it has reached the point where I need to bow out of this thread. Some really good posts but I can't leave anything to chance that could possibly get spoiled. I've even gone so far as to stop watching the trailers and am telling friends to stop talking to me about this movie. I am that excited about it.Comment
