This was a good movie, not great. The second half of the film saved it for me because halfway through I was underwhelmed.

Felt like there was some super sloppy parts in terms of the script, even for a superhero movie.

Independently this is a solid movie, but in the scope of the greatness that was the dark knight it doesn't come close.

Very good movie, but I feel a little underwhelmed. I will elaborate more,.tomorrow. I love Nolans work and the series, but I didn't see why people kept clapping at different parts of the movie.
Again, I will Elaborate more tomorrow.

Just saw it and... for now I'm satisfied and I loved it. Will comment more tomorrow as I'm exhausted and have to be up for work in a few hours.

Biggest gripe for me was Bane's voice at times. I'm going to have to see it again but won't know what the hell he's truly saying until I can watch with subtitles.

The movie was good not as great as The Dark Knight but was still enjoyable. I think because of Nolan's success with the previous two movies that we went in with expectation too high for anyone to achieve. Again still a good movie I'd give it a 7/10. I was disappointed in the Superman trailer expected a bit more, but the flying looked awesome.

I was disappointed and felt that it lacked that special magic of the last film. Partly due to my own sky high expectations and partly due to the relentless soundtrack that just wouldn't shut up at any stage.

Also disappointing that most of us saw the plot twists coming from a mile away.

Nolan was in an impossible position as Ledger bottled lightning in the last film and his absence is sorely felt.

I'm still grateful that we were given such an epic trilogy that has changed comic book films forever.

Please guys don't mess up Superman... We cant endure yet another misfire ala Superman Returns..

It was amazing. I didn't expect it to be anywhere near the last one, and it got a lot closer than my most optimistic expectations. It didn't have the same roller coaster feel as the last one, but the storytelling was amazing.

I'm one of the people that didn't like The Dark Knight but I thought this was pretty good. I've got some of the same gripes as a few others who have posted but I'm satisfied overall.

I don't follow the comics too much but I was always under the impression that Batman basically retires after Bane breaks his back. I thought it was a little odd that the crackpot Doctor's friend was able to fix his spine by hoisting him up on a rope.

Bane was pretty bad ***, but his death was super rushed. I was hoping he'd have a more epic demise. I don't even mind the out of nowhere death (aka Leonardo DiCaprio in the Departed) but this didn't even have that feel to it.

It's been a while since I've seen The Dark Knight but does he get those injuries at the end of it or was he just faking being a cripple?

How could I forget? The scene at the end where they have about a minute before the city is nuked and Catwoman decides it's a good time to waste precious seconds and give Batman a big kiss. A little too cheesy for my tastes.

My take on the film might be a little skewed since I was consuming some adult beverages during the film. I should also say that avoiding all trailers and media about this movie was such a good idea. I knew way too much about the Dark Knight and it kind of ruined the film for me going in.

I loved the movie. Not as good as the first two but what could be?

I feel like it was a bit sloppy and a bit too "straight forward", if that makes sense. It didn't have that psychological edge (though Bane is not exactly the most psychological villain) that the Joker had. That's why I loved the scene at the football stadium and Bane's speech because it planted the psychological seed of "when is the bomb going off and who has the detonator?" Interesting because looking at the trailer, I thought that the football stuff seemed a bit out of place.

I thought Anne Hathaway did a pretty damn good job, and wow is she ever sexy.

The Marion Cotillard twist was a bit too predictable. Loved the Cillian Murphy and Liam Neeson cameos too.

Overt political message. Not sure how I feel about that.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stole the show though, as usual. Just greatness.

I'll have to collect my thoughts a bit and think more. It didn't leave me the way "The Dark Knight" left me, which was about as close to a life-changing experience you could get from a film, lol.

I liked it. Not Dark Knight levels, but I expected that going in. I will say that Jmood's list of complaints were pretty valid though. Just didn't bother me as much (some at least).
