I want to know what role the "hanso corporation" plays as well. I just watched an episode from season 4 and it had widdemore buying a book from the Black Rock ship that disappeared, Hanso was the previous owner and widmore payed alot of money for it. Plus Hanso is said in all the orientation vids....

But didn't we see Faraday on the island back when the Asian doctor and the Dharma initiative were there? He was in the orchid right? So we know he's been there before too. So Charlotte and Miles have been there before Faraday? So they may have been born there or have been little kids there during the Dharma initiative?

Obviously we don't know, but it sure is fun trying to figure it out and coming up with all the theories. The Miles as a baby theory is very interesting.

I think Faraday being there was a result of a flash. At this point in time for the Island people, that flash has yet to happen. Where are they going as of the 4th episode? The Orchid. So, it's gonna happen soon I bet.

Something interesting I just thought of. Locke is currently heading to the Orchid. We have been told that if you leave the island that way you cannot come back. First off, I think thats wrong, i bet Ben finds a way back to the island one way or another. But i doubt that Locke gets off the island via the orchid because he shows up dead on the mainland. Him getting to the mainland has something to do with him dying.

I don't think he shows up dead, the O6 all mention at one point or another in the S4 flashforwards that "Bentham came to visit them".

Everything that happens in the past on the island can't be changed. It runs the same path just now with the Losties involved. Sawyer saw Kate delivering Claire's baby, as why Locke didn't go to the hatch to see the light, because Locke and Boone would've been there at that time. As far as Boone being with Locke at the plane, they didn't find the plane until years after it crashed, not when it crashed like Locke did when he went back, it was 2 totally different times.

I disagree with that statement. Case in point, the young Widmore breaking his buddy's neck. Lock Killing the other "Other" with a knife. There are 2 people dead. What's the butterfly effect from that. They killed people that would have otherwise been alive.

Sawyer took a shot at Widmore. What would have happened had that bullet fell him?

The other issue I have is OK, Sawyer saw Kate & Claire because they were in the jungle at that particular time. I get that. But...............Lets say Kate gets back to the island and it still moves and her and Sawyer get put back to that precise time, would Kate see herself?

Unless that is what would trigger the nosebleed or the smoke Monster. I would imagine if you encounter yourself, one must die, most likely the one that is doing the traveling.

I think Faraday was taught the secrets of 'time travel' by his mom and dad, and this is how he's able to understand it so well and has been on the island before.

I'm starting to have a different theory on what's going on with the island and everyone involved.
I can't fill in all the cracks but my theory is that all the survivors are actually the original inhabitants of the island. Through their generations they became the 'Hostiles'.
The survivors souls are probably linked to the island and each other - hence why they're lives are intertwined, and why they are drawn to the island and find themselves returning over and over again.
This island is probably just hurling through space and time with the Survivors constantly getting on and off through the course of history.

Didn't Locke commit suicide?
I think that was his plan to get the survivors back to the island.
The fact that he keeps saying "I'll get them back even if it kills me" over and over again, suggests that.
And I'm sure he'll be revived somehow when he returns.

I have a feeling that Locke's body will naturally deterioate fast once it leaves the island. Not sure he'd have to kill himself, more like make a plea with the others to get him back there or he'll die. And when he does die he has them all promised to get him back there.

I think you're confusing the time travelers with the people they meet.

The Time Travelers can die because they are living. The people they meet are part of this time jump that the travelers are living. For some reason, they can interact with the people they meet.

Here's my example. Faraday sees Desmond in the past, He tells Desmond to go see his Mother. That conversation now takes place its in Desmonds memory. What your saying is Desmond would have no way of recollecting that, but he does. The future was altered. Desmond in that scenario was no different than a young Widmore or anybody else at that point in time.

Well then if I was Sawyer, before the time changed again, I would have knocked out Kate's Bugs Bunny teeth to test my theory. If she came back to the island looking like a Jack-O-Lantern I guess I'd have my answer.
