I said it last Wed and a few others have mentioned it, but last week's ep was pretty blah and the cliffhangers haven't exactly been great from week to week this year.

I think we'll see Locke exit the island this week, I hope they progress fast and they Oceanic 6 get back to the island soon. I'd hate to waste all season watching Ben round all the people up on the mainland.

I'm willing to bet they are back on the island by episode 6 or 7. Mostly because I hope they are. The off the island stuff is so boring. Tonight's episode should be very telling in where the story is going. I wonder how Ben will convince Sun that Jin is alive?

Yeah, I think tonight will have some pretty significant events.

The individual episodes have been great outside of last week's, which was still pretty good, it's just that there haven't been those famous Lost cliffhangers each week.

I can't see them not being on the Island by mid-season or no later than the 10th episode. There's no way that the season cliffhanger will be them arriving. Whatever causes great confusion and a load of questions heading into Season 6 will be something involving the Island and saving it.

Ben kills Locke?

It should be very interesting seeing what happened to those left on the island in the three years since Jack and gang left (I'm assuming the flashes have stopped).

It wouldn't surprise me Johnny, but he also probably told him he'd be fine once he was brought back to the island.

BTW, did anyone notice that Locke was the only one of the Losties left on the island who never got a nose bleed? That can't be a coincidence.

So it looks like everyone will be back on the Island next week, maybe the episode after that. Now that Locke seems to have stopped the time loop nonsense the question I have is when are Sawyer, Juliet, etc stuck? Since the well wasn't even there when Locke turned the wheel it's gotta be pretty far back in time.

And I'm glad Charlotte was killed off, one of the most annoying characters this show has had.

Good episode, pretty good cliffhanger. My big question is once the O6 are back and the ones left on the island are saved - then what? War vs Widmore to close out the series?

Now that Locke seems to have stopped the time loop nonsense the question I have is when are Sawyer, Juliet, etc stuck? Since the well wasn't even there when Locke turned the wheel it's gotta be pretty far back in time.

And I'm glad Charlotte was killed off, one of the most annoying characters this show has had.

Once Locke fixed the time wheel, there was the typical flash, which should have jumped everyone back to current time right when Ben initially turned the Time Wheel.

I also think there's a chance that Ben kills Locke.

The Island should be in "present time." Of course, that's either present time 3 years ago or present time 2007.

I wonder what that temple was. Unless I've forgotten about it, I don't think that temple where Smokey came out of was ever seen before.

What I mean is. THe people off the island (oceanic 6 and ben along with desmond) compared to the people on the island (Jin, locke, Sawyer etc.). Are they all along the same timeline, cause it seems off from what I could tell. Cause apparently they have all been off the island for 3 years, but for the people on the island it has been how long?

Also, this is complete different but another thought I had. Remember in season 4 when

Jack walked in on Kate talking to someone on the phone? She wouldn't tell him who she was talking to (my guess, as well as others im sure was Sawyer) and all Jack said was "It was HIM again wasn't it".
Well after seeing this season so far, we know that Sawyer assumed Kate and everyone died on the helicopter, so how does that work in the timeline as well?

I think Jack asking Kate who she was talking to might just have been his paranoia. Since his wife left him for another man and he saw Kate hooking up with Sawyer in the third season, he might just always be fearful that whoever he loves will leave him.

The only thing I remember about the temple was at the end of Season 3 (I think) Ben tells Richard to lead everyone to the temple and wait for him. Still, that was bad *** last night!

How Rousseau knew that her boyfriend/husband wasn't the same guy as the one who went into the pit, whether it was just a copy from smoky, the man himself, or what. I also didn't check that of the two guys who she had already killed, if the one had a missing arm. Maybe that scene will be key in explaining how Christian appears, Hurley's friend Dave, Yemi, and even Walt "exist" on the island.

Also, did anyone catch in the preview for next week Eloise mentioning "windows"? I assume it's a time window (have to get there during this specific timeframe), but if anyone has read 'His Dark Materials', those novels describe physical windows that connect worlds, kind of a parallel universe theory. For example, London exists in the same space and size in both worlds, but one might have modern tech while the other is stuck in the 50's.

Great, great episode, and I can't wait until next week...and most importantly, when I can sit down at the end of 2010 and watch the whole series start to finish.

At the beginning of the season we see Faraday back in the 1950's. A thought occurred to me last night that I wonder if anyone else thinks might happen. What if Faraday goes back in time to do something to whatever is behind that wall they were drilling in to and thus preventing everything that has happened in the series from ever actually happening.

Jin's nose isn't bleeding to my knowledge.

Charlotte?......More Annoying than the smirk? Bugs Bunny? Hypocrite Jack? And worst of them all, that weasel Ben. Ben and the whole I'll have a gun put to my face every single episode and find a way out of it is getting very old an annoying.

I still don't understand why they aren't trying to track down Walt. Other members had permission to leave the island as well so it would seem that if everyone had to get back so would Walt.
