I'm willing to bet they are back on the island by episode 6 or 7. Mostly because I hope they are. The off the island stuff is so boring. Yeah, I think tonight will have some pretty significant events.

I can't see them not being on the Island by mid-season or no later than the 10th episode. There's no way that the season cliffhanger will be them arriving. It wouldn't surprise me Johnny, but he also probably told him he'd be fine once he was brought back to the island.
BTW, did anyone notice that Locke was the only one of the Losties left on the island who never got a nose bleed? That can't be a coincidence.
SpoilerSo it looks like everyone will be back on the Island next week, maybe the episode after that. Now that Locke seems to have stopped the time loop nonsense the question I have is when are Sawyer, Juliet, etc stuck? Since the well wasn't even there when Locke turned the wheel it's gotta be pretty far back in time.
And I'm glad Charlotte was killed off, one of the most annoying characters this show has had.

I also think there's a chance that Ben kills Locke.
The Island should be in "present time." Of course, that's either present time 3 years ago or present time 2007.
I wonder what that temple was. Unless I've forgotten about it, I don't think that temple where Smokey came out of was ever seen before.

I am still kinda confused guys...
Can someone explain to me where in time every one is?
SpoilerWhat I mean is. THe people off the island (oceanic 6 and ben along with desmond) compared to the people on the island (Jin, locke, Sawyer etc.). Are they all along the same timeline, cause it seems off from what I could tell. Cause apparently they have all been off the island for 3 years, but for the people on the island it has been how long?
Also, this is complete different but another thought I had. Remember in season 4 when
SpoilerJack walked in on Kate talking to someone on the phone? She wouldn't tell him who she was talking to (my guess, as well as others im sure was Sawyer) and all Jack said was "It was HIM again wasn't it".
Well after seeing this season so far, we know that Sawyer assumed Kate and everyone died on the helicopter, so how does that work in the timeline as well?

I think Jack asking Kate who she was talking to might just have been his paranoia. The only thing I remember about the temple was at the end of Season 3 (I think) Ben tells Richard to lead everyone to the temple and wait for him. Still, that was bad *** last night!
There also has to be something up with:
SpoilerHow Rousseau knew that her boyfriend/husband wasn't the same guy as the one who went into the pit, whether it was just a copy from smoky, the man himself, or what. I also didn't check that of the two guys who she had already killed, if the one had a missing arm. Maybe that scene will be key in explaining how Christian appears, Hurley's friend Dave, Yemi, and even Walt "exist" on the island.
Also, did anyone catch in the preview for next week Eloise mentioning "windows"? I assume it's a time window (have to get there during this specific timeframe), but if anyone has read 'His Dark Materials', those novels describe physical windows that connect worlds, kind of a parallel universe theory. For example, London exists in the same space and size in both worlds, but one might have modern tech while the other is stuck in the 50's.

At the beginning of the season we see Faraday back in the 1950's. A thought occurred to me last night that I wonder if anyone else thinks might happen. What if Faraday goes back in time to do something to whatever is behind that wall they were drilling in to and thus preventing everything that has happened in the series from ever actually happening.Comment

Charlotte?......More Annoying than the smirk? Bugs Bunny? Hypocrite Jack? And worst of them all, that weasel Ben. Ben and the whole I'll have a gun put to my face every single episode and find a way out of it is getting very old an annoying.
I still don't understand why they aren't trying to track down Walt. Other members had permission to leave the island as well so it would seem that if everyone had to get back so would Walt.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
