Great episode. I'm guessing Ben killed Penny as well, which will lead to how Desmond gets back to the island. Can't wait to see what happened to Sun, Sayid, Ben and the other passengers. I take it the plane never actually crashed then? It will be interesting to see how the O6 react to the island being stopped back where it is now. That was the first real cliffhanger episode in the season. Why the heck is Jin driving around in a DHARMA truck with a DHARMA jumpsuit? That's interesting to find out. And also, we need to find out where everyone else is.

That's the stuff that bugs my wife, the whereabouts and possible murder of a child. The other deaths have been fine, and it's not as though Penny wasn't on the chopping block (even though we loved the relationship and teary eyed reunion). If Ben cut down both Penny and Charlie, Desmond would have to go ape **** on Ben and torture that bastard to death.
Still, Desmond is on a boat, and he did get to the island by boat originally, though really, unless his purpose is to kill Ben, I'm not sure why he has to go back.
Oh, and I can only assume the two people in first class with the Six, the one dude who gave Jack his condolences and the agent with Sayid will be new regulars for a while.
And lastly, where is Aaron? I can only assume it has to do with the phone calls Jack was pissed about (where she mentioned "him") and whatever was whispered into her ear by Sawyer, presumably about his daughter.I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

Yeah...Penny and Charlie accompanied Desmond to Los Angeles, at the end of the episode she had told him "then we're coming with you" or something to that effect.
Also, did anyone catch yet another lie by Ben? He must literally be incapable of telling the truth.

Did anyone catch Hurley with the Guitar? Didn't Charlie have his guitar on the plane? Also the guy that gave his condolences to Jack and was in 1st class with them, he had a wierd look like he knew Jack from somewhere. Also if Hurley bought all the seats how was this guy in there with them? 2 points I keep retelling in my mind are how many times is Locke going to be injured in his legs on the island and how does this translate to his injury off the island.
