Be careful guys. When stores liquidate, the usually play games with pricing at first. The company is going away so all sales are final. Don't think CC is just going to give away their inventory.

Its funny on perspectives. My job (GE) just laid off some people and I see that in the article. Everyone else is wondering about deals.

Just saying, as bad as the job market is, there is another 30k more people jumping in the pool.

Pretty messed up man that all of these people's lives are going to be wrecked.

Crap, if they filled bankruptcy people who own the stores card should get off too, that not the customers fault.

I don't know, but when I read his comment I just about fell out of my seat. Some people don't realize that all credit cards are through a bank. LOL!

Yeah Dre, it is sad. I was telling my wife today, what are all those employees going to do that are going to be canned now with CC closing down? I'm sorry, but I really believe we are in a depression no matter what certain people in our gov say. So many lost jobs, businesses shutting down. We have had a lot of restaurants alone shutdown in my area + many department stores to go along with that.

Pretty sad though, all that really leaves is BB. It was always nice to choose between BB deals and CC deals for games and stuff like that.
I agree. CC often had better prices on things when they first came out. CD's, movies, games, etc were typically better price at CC upon release. Now BB, who's not doing all that great either, will probably raise their prices up a bit because they can.

Very sad. Feel bad for the employees also. I always preferred CC to BB; I brought two Samsung tvs the past 6months from them. Their website is a lot better organized and more consumer-friendly - I've had times where I've ordered things on BB's website for in-store pickup and you don't find out until a few hours later if the item really was in stock. Never had that issue w/CC, and on top of it if it took more than 24min for them to get the item to me I'd get a $24 gift card. And generallly found their prices to be better. Going to miss them

The CCs here in AZ have been gone for weeks now. Id go in every week as the sales got better, 10%-20%......70%...

The sale price on TVs never dropped, only the 'original price' kept rising.

                  Youve been warned.

So, are there no more CCs down in the Phoenix area? I was planning on coming down on Monday and thought I might stop by one if any were still open.

                          Wow, I didn't realize that.

With that said, we shouldn't expect the government to give us anything. If they do, it's just icing on the cake. Kind of like a bonus at work. I never expect it, but if I get one, great! Even more reason people need to start looking at saving/investing and not trying to keep up with the Joneses if they don't have the flexible spending money to do so.
