Not kill but I wouldnt have a problem if a woman hit a man who gave her herp/hiv. Now based on the reports Brown beat the crap out of her and went way overboard. Still I'd be hard pressed to fault someone for hitting someone once for giving him a life long disease....man or woman.

But, are people certain that she gave him herpes or is that some internet rumor created to protect his image? Why do we always have to find fault with the woman when **** like this goes down? We really aren't as progressive as a society as we pretend to be, IMO. Also, no matter how long you're with a partner you should routinely get tested, since you don't completely know who they are with or what the do out in the street. In particularly within the DMV area.

Most of its a rumor right now. The biting, the herpes, her injuries. The only thing we know is he was charged with assault. No one here is blaming Rihanna. No one here is saying beating a woman is OK. They are saying that they can understand why someone would react by hitting someone if they found out someone gave them a disease like Herpes.

Yeah, you guys are still taking this low-brow humor too far, IMO. Who gives a **** if Rihanna is a celebrity or gave him an STD, those are irrelevant to the fact that Chris Brown supposedly hit her. People have contracted HIV from their partners, usually women dealing with "Down Low" men or drug abusers, so does that give them the right to kill their partner? This is just more proof that men don't take domestic abuse seriously, and that no matter how squeeky clean the image (i.e. Chris Brown and Kobe Bryant) celebrities can still be pieces of **** underneath the facade.

Very good post J_Posse. I always say to each his/her own when it comes to opinions but men beating/abusing is not humorous to me at all no matter the social status. I have a 17 year old daughter soon to be 18 and if a guy hit my daughter I would lose it because of my beliefs. When my daughter went to the Prom last year and the guy she went with came in I made it very clear. Do not ever touch my daughter in a physical/abusing way or we are going to have problems. I told him if something was going wrong he could call me and I would come get my daughter. The point is he knew where I stood. The jokes flying around about the possible abuse I just don't get it. Could be I'm one of the older cats and I've seen it 1st hand & it's not funny when you see it in real life. Peace!!!

Nobody here is making jokes or supporting beating up on women whatsoever, but if it is true she gave him that STD, then I have no problem with what he did.

Let's look at this scenario. What if she really did give him an STD, but did not know she was burning the dude. Is it still okay for him to hit her? The point is some of the younger gen on these boards read some of the things we say and run with it as the truth or are easily influenced. For all who feel it's okay or she deserved it due to what we all really don't know. Bottom line is you hit a woman for giving you an STD or for mouthing off and you are going to jail. PERIOD!!! Possibly ruin your future career possibilities, end up with a felony record. Am I correct? Me personally, I would be mad as hell if a woman did this to me, but beating her is not going to make the STD go away or is it? I think not. If some feel the physical route is the way to go then that's your choice and I'm sure their will be consequences for your actions which could hamper your personal/financial/family ect. in the long run. I just tend to look at the big picture. Just because some don't find this thread funny does not mean we should not voice our opinions as well. Peace!!!!

I'd tell someone else to go get me some (if I engaged in such outrageous behavior). Imagine some 19 year old kid with a "sack" of "purp" getting a call that some folk were going to "come through" and it's Chris Brown and Mrs. T-Pain's herpes. That would be quite the scenario.

Law enforcement sources have now gotten specific with us... police took pictures of Rihanna's injuries and they are "horrific."

As we reported, the photos show major contusions on both sides of the singer's face -- there is serious swelling and bruising. Her lip is split and her nose bloody. We have now confirmed there are bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers.

And we now know this... Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists and that's what did the damage. There was no object used in the alleged attack.

Rihanna refused treatment at the scene, but before she left cops took photos. We're told the photos alone are "devastating proof of abuse."

And we've learned it was not Rihanna who called 911. Someone in the area heard her screams and called
