Having said that. I loved every minute of it!
Well that guarantees I rent it on DVD as i'm a bit squeamish but this movie looks VERY interesting. I'll be using the FF on the remote quite liberally.

Went and saw it last night... Awesome!

Although I didn't think it was that gory at all. Not nearly as brutal as watchmen which I watched two days ago. I think the sister in law should be alright.

Great movie. And ya, the lead actor was fantastic.

Wife and I went to see it yesterday. I wanted the lead actor killed by a prawn in the beginning to put me out of my misery. I could not garner any sympathy for the lead actor, or the aliens at all.

Was looking forward to this, but it was very forgetable for us. Star Trek, loved it, this not at all.

They put closed captions of the guys who sounded "Jamaican" and I understood them completely, but the other blokes, it was hard.

I didn't have a problem understanding anybody, even the people with subtitles.

Saw this movie tonight and like most people, came away very impressed. Personally I am outraged that this movie does not have a game though, perfect video game material.

I was thinking though, If this scenario happened in real life ( Alien Refugees coming to earth) I do not think this movie would be far off from reality.

Ummm.... I don't know guys. I was pumped for this when it started being revealed. But not to the level where I had necessarilt high expectations. It just never captured me.

I mean, definitely a good performance from the lead. SFX were outstanding. But I really thought the story was just shallow and I can't explain why. I didn't feel a thing for any of the alien characters at all and

I just thought the movie was a little too summer blockbustery when I was expecting something a little deeper.

Still a great concept and a good movie. Probably wouldn't see it again though.

Watch the red band trailer. She's even more hilarious in that one!

Instead of saying "Your baby is going to burn"... she says, "Your baby is going to ****ing burn!" all with a smile on her face. It's fantastic!

Given that the director had amazing special effects in his even smaller budget short films, it's not entirely surprising. The guy knows how to get the best out of his shots. Peter Jackson has good eyes.

Saw this today. I liked it. I've seen much worse in the gore department, like last night when I watched the "Rambo" that came out last year.

As I was sitting there watching the movie, I couldn't help but think about whether this was some sort of message attempting to be sent as far as real world situations. Couldn't really think of any other than numerous slum areas around some of the world's biggest cities, but they aren't filled with extraterrestrials. I also wondered whether the white-haired, bearded guy sitting two seats down from me had smoked a bunch of weed before he arrived at the theater because he reeked of it and he was laughing at parts of the movie that I didn't find funny. Anyway, in the end, I just came away with a feeling that I saw a really good movie. I enjoyed that more than "GI Joe: Rise of Cobra."
