A backhanded complement of a review from you, 'flow? It always seems like the movies most OS'ers like, you pretty much tear down. What kind of movies do you like or think are good? Porn doesn't count, by the way.

Off the top of my head, I don't think my views are radically different from the rest of the OS community when it comes to films. I may disagree here or there but it doesn't frequently happen. The people here loved The Hangover and I feel the same way about that movie.

Some of the movies I really like are: The Hangover, Transformers, Donnie Brasco, Schindler's List, I Love You Man, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Juno, The Dark Knight, Boyz N The Hood, Brokeback Mountain, Wedding Crashers, Red Eye, There's Something About Mary, American Psycho, The Departed, etc...

A good movie is a movie that is entertaining to watch.

Fair enough. Not to thread-jack this much further, but "Brokeback Mountain?" I lose credibility right about now when I admit I've never seen it, but it looks out-of-place among the rest of those movies just from what little I know about it.

I finally saw this in the afternoon yesterday in a near packed theater. The movie was very well done and not the usual Alien Invasion type of movie. The spin on it was very good.

Isn't that part of the point of the film? It's asking, what if they did have rights?

To me, that doesn't make a movie bad. That's just storytelling. If someone could come up with a good movie that took the concept of mutant turtles from a sewer and made them ninjas, man, it doesn't matter how far-fetched the idea is. It's an idea.

I saw it about two weeks ago and thought it was great, but I really hope they don't make a sequel. I don't think we need a sequel, and it would turn it into any other action movie that Hollywood is doing.

It was powerful enough to know that Wikus turned into one of them completely, and that we don't know if Christopher is going to come back. I don't need to know if Christopher comes back.

It's a lot more powerful to wonder if Christopher actually kept his word or not. And it would be sort of cheesy if Wikus just becomes human again.

But the story can end right where it did. There is no need to keep the story going because the first one you told was so great.

There are plenty of other directions they can go with the story. If you don't want to see a probable sequel then don't see it.

I'd love to see a sequel if it was done right. Same for Cloverfield.

Although, watching a sequel to one of the best movies ever, Donnie Darko was painful.
