Friends With Benefits - Ahhhh, Mila Kunis. This was much funnier than expected.

Final Destination 5 - Same as the first four. Some pretty gruesome deaths.

The Devil Inside - Your average bad exorcism movie. Guess what the plot is.

The Cabin in the Woods - Very cool concept but poorly executed. Could have been much better but over all I liked it.

Bernie - This is one of the best movies I've seen lately. Funny story with plenty of hilarious gossip from the local townspeople. I really enjoyed this.

Knock Knock 2 - Low-budget POV horror movie. This thing sucked and just when you thought all the time you wasted would have a huge payback, it just sucked more.

Haha, 'Friends With Benefits' was great. JT and Mila are a riot together, it's even worth youtubing their interviews. Mila is such a beauty, but also accessible and down to earth.

I didnt know Emily Blunt was in it, so I was happy. Overall Solid movie, nothing special though.

This gotta be one of the greatest things ever put on film. Not in the Drive sense but in the Army of Darkness sense. The Downfall/Hitler meme joke was the best thing in the movie that I can mention on this site.

Marketing fail/misleading trailer alert!!!
This was marketed as a comedy. All but one joke is in the trailers. So in 90 seconds worth of trailer you can see almost every joke in a nearly 2 hour movie. Even some of the things in the trailers that come off as jokes do not once they're in the context of the scenes and full movie.

That makes it tough to say if it was actually good or if others would enjoy it. I didn't feel like it was boring or a waste of time/money to have watched it but to rate it on a scale of 5 stars or 0-10 I have no idea where it'd land. It had a good soundtrack and I thought both Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer were very good. There was a random plot twist towards the end that might refer to some deleted scenes but there weren't any on the blu-ray,the only previous mention was the joke not in the trailers.

There was also this odd yellow tint over the movie. Sort of like when you set your TV color to warm but yellow instead of red.

Overall if you were intrested in watching it then give it a watch but change your expectations. If you were put off it was a vampire comedy well good news,it's not. So you might like it anyway.

I just watched Taken 2.. I liked it. A lot more Liam as a big tough guy rather then suspense compared to the first. It brought out a lot of action. Despite being "beat" I think Liam was looking his age (Hard to believe he's 60).


Only thing I really didn't like but understood is the ending.

If he killed him (which I didn't think he'd let him live) he said his son's would come and he'd kill them too. They kinda made it right there saying yeah we just left a big opening to do some type of third movie. I would love to see a third, just not sure how he, his daughter and his ex-wife which I'd assume they'd relate some thing in the "next" movie to them getting together/married again. Maybe they are kidnapped before the wedding?

But besides it all, I really liked the movie. Wasn't as dazzling as the first, because we knew what Brian would do.

Just watched Indecent Proposal again after many years. I forgot just how uneven the movie is. The first half of the film is actually pretty engaging and Robert Redford is quite good throughout but the last third of the movie literally drags for me.

28 Days Later - I've always been a fan of this film though I've never really paid particular attention to its production. It really lends itself across several genres and hits many horror/zombie tropes while actively not being a horror or zombie film at its core.

Very good flick. As you said, crosses genres as well. The sequel, while not being nearly as good, had several effective moments.

But I don't know if its because of the 3D, or move form 45" to 70" or bad acting but when ever it was a close talking moment I felt like i was watching a reading for the part and not the finished movie.
