Yeah and apparently the book is much more ****ed up than the movie is. I've heard of some of the examples and it's pretty interesting to say the least.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

It takes a bit to get going since it has that droll 80s, stat-sheet for every character, but its a great read.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I wonder if anyone has watched Boyhood yet. Crazy that they filmed over 12 years. What I was reading is that they went through all the technology from 2002.
That was playing Xbox on a tube TV with no WiFi or smartphone era.

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Antichrist
The fiancé and I were looking for something scary to watch. I saw this film on a list of the scariest of the past ten years.
Eh, not scary. Gross, certainly. But it seemed "gross for the sake of being gross" in a movie that this ploy didn't fit into . It's a very serious drama with worse-than-Saw-series gore in parts, especially near the end. There's also a very explicit shot during the sex scene at the beginning that was just completely unnecessary. I'm no prude, but it didn't seem to make sense to show what they did.
The female lead (forget her name) was fantastic. Very convincing performance.
Defoe was Defoe. He never seems like the average Joe in any role I have seen him in, so I never find him very good (though, I do like him in Boondock Saints, but he plays an eccentric detective, so it makes sense).
It's one of those artsy films, but it did have some rather beautiful shots and colors.
I would suggest it only if you like something "different" and you can handle gore (and we are talking full on genital mutilation here).

Boyhood is on my radar but unfortunately no theaters within 50 miles are screening it. I imagine a DVD release won't be too far off like most limited releases.Comment

Rented Non-Stop from Redbox.
Pretty intense throughout just because there's that mystery, I had no clue who the bad guy was because it left everyone open to being it. Once it's revealed, it's kinda obvious but I guess that's how it usually goes.
Worth the rent but definitely not worth the money to see in theaters.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Embarrassingly late here but I saw Kill Bill volumes 1 and 2 last night. Enjoyed every minute. Both volumes might be in my top 10 list.SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

I haven't seen it yet but I really want to see Enemy just because it has a really ****ing cool cover. Well that and Jake Gyllenhaal was really good in Prisoners, so I expect good things.

The Raid 2. The pace was slow in lots of places, but the action was INTENSE. Best fighting sequences I've seen in a movie.Comment

Recorded a Jaws marathon on AMC a few weeks back and finally got around to watching them. Jaws 3 (Jaws 3D) has got to be up there as one of the worst films I have ever seen.Comment

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I agree slow paced in parts but when it was action time, it's the best I ever seen. Top 5 movie of 2014 for me.
