My rehab center is right by the 4dx theater and thought and check out whatever movie was there. Geeked out when I saw Pacific Rim was showing. Holy **** that was the perfect movie to see 4dx. It really felt you were in the Jager.

Most intense movie experience to date!

Best part was at the end when Idris Elba sets off the nuke. Chairs tilt back, max rumble and the wind turbines going full blast in your face. I still got goosebumps from that.

I watched "Enough Said" last night. Thought it was really good. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Gandolfini was terrific in it. Good story and solid acting from him and JLD.

For some reason unbeknownst to me, ended up watching Goldfinger again last night. Hasn't aged well. Got me thinking, and I know classics are classics, but maybe it's time to reboot some Bond films, especially those awful Roger Moore ones.

I like it more and more every time I see it. I remember there was some backlash on it and I thought it was one of the better zombie movies to come out in a long time.

Saw Calvary last night. We had the entire theatre to ourselves, but the movie was legit. Brendan Gleeson was virtually flawless. Grabs you from the opening scene. Also, gloriously shot with its northwestern Irish backdrop.

Watched The Way, Way Back with my wife last night and we both enjoyed it. Really solid cast. Sam Rockwell is always good, such an underrated and underused actor.

I just watched that a few weeks ago. I thought it was a good flick. Very entertaining. Rockwell did a great job.

Sin City 2

Big eh from me. It was kinda boring and it really it just came 7 years too late. JGL character and Marv were really good also Brolins character was a surprise but everyone else was flat.

And wow to see its box office numbers it really bombed.

My favorite character in the first was Clive Owen and that was missing in this one is someone like him.

Speaking of Clive Owen, where the hell has he been? He's a good actor and thought he was better than a flavor of the month actor.

Neighbors. Or at least I tried to watch it. I stopped after an hour, and while sometimes d*** jokes can work in a comedy, it just didn't in this one. Efron and Franco were really good though.

Good Will Hunting - I hadn't seen this in awhile and the independently owned cinema in town was playing it in commemoration of Robin Williams. I forgot how much of a punch in the gut it is. Robin and Matt are great, but Ben at the end is what always gets me even if the setup is trite. Love the NSA interview scene, but honestly each one is damn near perfect.

Only Lovers Left Alive.

Besides the sweet soundtrack/score, (That warped psychedelic Funnel of Love track for the opening....man) Jim Jarmusch made another movie that I like a lot.

Not real fast moving movie, but engrossing. Swinton and Huddleston were both pretty good in their roles

Ahh man this was hilarious. Wes Anderson does it again . I had no idea he directed this movie and immediately thought this feels like Royal Tannenbaums.
