My post wasn't intended to be a diss, just stating the obvious. I do enjoy reading your breakdowns of older movies though.

Oh I know, I don't really post about the newer movies all that often because well, i'm known as the guy that watches the old stuff so I play up on that

Saw the great western "Warlock" for the umpteenth time. I think Henry Fonda was made for the role.

In my personal Top 15 movies of all time I put it alongside High Noon as my favorite western.

Saw Black Mass earlier, not bad, but not worth seeing in the theater. Good cast, but it's a story that's been told a hundred times before.

Only one problem with one point....

Saw the great Western "Warlock" again for the umpteenth time (YouTube). Fonda was made for that role. The Fonda-Quinn inferred relationship is amusing to me, but at the same time Quinn's devotion is hard to analyze.

So good you had to tell us twice about this movie

I've seen this flick once a long time ago. I may have to revisit it at some point.

The wife and I saw Sicario today. Excellent movie. Great acting. Some nice intense moments. This is cinema at it's best. You will definitely will feel "some type of way" when the movie ends. Day-1 blu ray buy. Highly recommended

Scream - It still holds up fairly well after 20 or so years apart from the 90s wardrobe. The balance in scares, comedy, reverence, and meta reference is fairly even and helps the pacing. Not too many jump scares, but some images and thoughts that will stick around for a couple days after viewing.

Yup, and IMO they perfected it with Scream 2.
