Of all the professions, after all, few people are less suited to be suddenly thrown into the public eye than chefs. We're used to doing what we do in private, behind closed doors. -

The Next Three Days:
Movie took a little while to get going though. Actually it didn't get into any action until the last half hour and it was a two hour movie. However it was more on Russell Crowe's character coping with what had happened and later coming up with a plan to get his wife out of prison.
The ending was sort of suspenseful. It did a good job wrapping everything up.

12 Rounds: Die Hard With A Vengeance except without McClane.
To put it another way, Die Hard With A Vengeance without 85% of the reason that movie's awesome.
Very meh to me. It's watchable, but there's a few points during the movie where you could tell nobody in it is worth a damn as an actor. Cena was surprisingly okay, there were only a couple times I laughed at a line delivery of his.
Worth a rental, I suppose. It tells a decent story if you can look past the crappy acting. You could also just rent Die Hard With A Vengeance and watch what's essentially a far superior version of 12 Rounds.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Watched The Town the other night and I have to say I don't understand the hype. While I was entertained , I found the movie to drag on a bit. I've heard people compare it to Gone Baby Bone. I don't think so.Comment

I watched Pelham 1,2,3 with my wife over the weekend. I thought it was pretty good. Travolta is a wild boy in this one. Denzel was great as well.Originally posted by J. The Maltese Falcon - I found it to be pretty enjoyable and for being the basis of a lot of cliches, it didn't feel trite at all. I am actually surprised they haven't tried to bring back Sam Spade; I didn't realize Sam Spade has his own film series before Bogie.

Scott Pilgram v. The World.....halarious movie, very entertaining. They way it was made to be like a video game was funny and clever to me. One of my favorite parts was when Scott earned the "Power of Love" and the "Pee Meter". Did anyone else find the chick with the red, then blue hair attractive?Comment
