Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Wow. That about sums it up. Absolute gem. What wonderful characters they've made here (that in turn make the story) and fantastic performances by Carrey and Winslet,Dunst did a very nice job as well. I'm very disapointed in the Academy yet again, not sure how this didn't win best picture,it wasn't even nominated though it won best original screenplay? Over the movie that did win best picture at that. Don't think it won the Golden Globe either, nope,Sideways, really? At least Carrey won there though wasn't nominated for an Oscar. This should've swept the awards! Also a shame it didn't do better $ wise, doesn't look like it did horrid but not nearly what it deserved. Plus I can't believe it took me so long to watch this. Wasn't really sure what it was about and bought it on Blu-ray for $7. Best random/spontaneous movie buy ever.

    The Prowler
Standard slasher flick. A lot in common with the original My Bloody Valentine. Nothing spectacular but not awful. Has its moments but overall average for the genre.

Had the misfortune of watching Tron last night. Wow what a steaming pile of crap that movie is. I feel sorry for anyone who paid to see that movie at the cinema's. 0.5/5 from me - garbage.

You must cleanse your palette by watching the original!

Lol yeah i loved the original. Will definitely have to go and watch it again.

EDIT: I also watched a documentary called "Fat Head" last night as well. Pretty interesting look at the food / fat loss industry and how full of complete nonsense most of the commonly promoted health guidelines actually are. If you have any interest in that sort of thing it's well worth a watch imo.

              The "extended" cut?

The original droned on long enough the way it was, an unextended cut would have made more sense.

                The Tourist- 9.0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun freakin movie. Johnny Depp is a win in everything he does and Angelina Jolie was good too. The movie was a fun ride. The story was simple but the characters made it worth watching.

And i have to say, the ENDING!!!!! Truly enjoyed it. I expected a little twist but not that big. Definitely a movie worth seeing when its released on Blu Ray and DVD next week.

The happening. Finally got around to seeing this despite the terrible reviews.

Pretty bad. Okay, really bad. Decent enough plot, but the acting and execution was terrible. The only actors I would give a passing grade is the little girl and the extras.

As usual, the ending was also bad.

This is in my opinion the worst movie I have ever seen. I just want to remind myself because sometimes you see a film like GI Joe and you think: Wow, that's the worst movie ever! But no matter what I say, The Happening is the worst movie I've ever seen.

Understandable. I almost lost it when Walberg started talking to the tree.

For me that dubious distinction belongs to either Meet the Spartans or Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector. Halloween H2O is also in the discussion.

The original was just that at the time. Original. It wouldn't hold up to today's standards but at least they were trying a different frontier. But it did drag.
