    Bone Tomahawk

I honestly don't know how it's getting the scores it's getting on Rotten Tomatoes. The dialogue was generally slow and labored, even odd at times. This thing just dragged and dragged and dragged and then quickly turned to the occasional horribly awful torturous events. The ending, though it did give some completion, was weak as well. Several times I had to ask myself how the script writer got paid for some of the dialogue presented. One of the worst Kurt Russell movies I've ever seen.

Watched the first, I don't know, 2/3s of it (Bone Tomahawk) and then gave up. Was so incredibly bored.

Viewed "American Sniper" on HBO the other night. Think it was terrific.

Hitman Agent 47. More proof that without a solid story, your movie can be as pretty as it wants to be, but will fall short.

Aziz Ansari: Live at Madison Square Garden - Not a movie perse, but whatever. This was my first time watching any of his stand-up so I wasn't sure what to expect apart from him subverting Indian stereotypes. He essentially makes jokes about his audience and gets them to laugh at themselves for 60 minutes. Yet, he does it in a way that is very subtle. He touches on topics and commentary that are popular issues ranging from the meat industry, feminism, and (d)evolving social etiquette, but he isn't preachy. Each major routine was constructed in a very intelligent manner considering the subject matters and the jokes themselves were all great.

Saw that stand up a couple months ago on Netflix.

Dude had me cracked up the majority of the time. His voice can get kind of annoying at times but the actual material was really funny. He's got talent too because he was going off the top when he had that audience member's cell phone and was commenting on the conversation.

That part actually contained my favorite line. Something about these cheeky bars the audience member and the dude she was dating, and Aziz blurted out something like, "All these bars sound really douchey." Like he read my mind, I was busting up at that.

              Definitely worth a watch.

I had totally blanked on that segment, but she really opened her schedule off right off the bat. I was really impressed how he managed to shed some different perspective on things that you may think about, but never actually grasp the severity of. He definitely has a knack for getting the whole picture across. The whole Creepy Dudes/Women Struggles stuff was hilarious, but also frightening. The Immigration and American Consumerism material was wonderful as well. Of course, he hit the nail square on the head about texting and making plans. Crazy stuff.

Haha, yeah his commentary on relationships with technology made me appreciate married life.

The part about how Simply Orange juices are made was also crudely hilarious.

                  I gotta watch this again.

Watch Aziz's other specials too. I actually think the MSG one is his worst. Still good, just my least favorite.

Before watching Jurassic World, which(if any) of the 3 Jurassic Park movies should be watched before watching Jurassic World?

Haven't seen Jurassic World yet,but gonna watch it sometime in November. I got Jurassic Park on DVD already, but not sure if I need to see 2 or 3 before seeing Jurassic World.

Just JP1. The other two are literally ignored.

Though I personally like all JP films, and find The Lost World very underrated, so maybe you'll end up watching them anyway. I do, however, see how JW addressed the "wonder and awe" issues that TLW was missing.

                              Sicario

I loved the movie. My gf not so much. She thought it was slow but for me its my type of movie with well built up tension, amazing acting, direction cinematography and score. Benicio Del Torro is one of the best actors we have today, that guy stole every scene he was in, Oscar worthy. Brolin and Blunt did amazing too. This movie will probably win a couple of Oscars for its direction, Cinematography. The score too made it so heavy and dark.

Here's the thing, its really not a complex story or plot. This coulda been your typical drug bust movie but Dennis Vellenvue and the acting made it special. He's the same guy who made Prisoners so prepared for something dark. He's also will be the guy who will be directing the blade runner remake. I can't wait, he's one of my favorites now along with Innaritu.

This isn't action packed so if you're expecting that you'll be disappointed and this movie can be seen as boring for most people. I personally loved the tension and I appreciate this type of art.

EDIT: Didn't know who the cinematographer was and its the master Roger Deakins. He made Shawshank, No Country for Old Men, Skyfall, The Assassination of Jesse James, just number of movies. He does it again in this movie. The way he got Mexico and Arizona was just great.

                                Age of Adeline:

7/10 I thought it was very good. A cool concept (although not totally original) keeps it interesting throughout. The acting is pretty good with a nice smaller role for Harrison Ford where I thought he was excellent.

Cinematography was extremely well done. I can recommend it easily.

                                Wild:

8/10 I thought it was excellent. Reece Witherspoon was amazing in this. This movie has a very indie feel, but in a good way. I captures a person's "head space" just a bout as well as any movie I can remember. The direction was great, pacing and story were all done quite well and it was compelling all the way through for me. very emotional film as well.

                                Ex Machina:

8/10 I thought it was amazing. I loved learning that it was the wrriter/director's first feature film - so well done and Oscar Issac is to me one of our generation's Deniro's or Pacino's, Newman's etc. He is fantastic in everything I see him in. I love sci fi, so this was great.
