Haha that's true, but I was just watching it at first going, "There's no way that Vince is as serious as he is right now." After some time, I just started to believe it. The exchanges felt very real and like something I would expect out of rich, snobby actors. I never thought of Vince or Ben to be snobby, so that's why it came as a surprise for me. Thankfully it was all staged, which just makes it that much funnier. But I'm telling you, it was very hard to listen to because I wanted to scream at them lol!

I have about 20 minutes left of 2012, and so far it's hilariously ridiculous. The worst "hilarious" moments tend to be when Jon Cusack and crew are getting away from some disaster, but it otherwise is a pretty well-upscaled version of The Day After Tomorrow with some cheesy human morality messages thrown into the mix.

Ninja Assassin. I really liked it. There were a few parts where I thought the story was focused on too much but the fight scenes were gorrific. Seeing ninja chase a man down a highway o foot was very satisfying. I got so pumped up I almost kicked my wife in the face.

The Princess and the Frog. Nice to see a traditionally animated Disney movie again. I enjoyed it even though I didn't find any of the characters as endearing as from past efforts. The songs were really really good imo.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs. I am gonna have to watch it again because I dozed during chunks of it but the parts that I saw were really good. There were a lot of really laugh out loud parts to it but I was just tired and couldn't keep myself up.

Just saw two movies. Running with Scissors--coming of age movie, but it felt long and forced. Not a huge Alec Baldwin fan.

Also saw A Time To Kill. Not much of an upgrade on blu ray vs. the DVD. Still a very powerful movie.

that one's in my top 5. I quote that movie on a daily basis. "Well see, there's your problem. What you should be thinking is, what would Harry Rex do?"

            Shutter Island- 9.0

WTF, the movie was intense through and through and had a interesting ending, especially the last minute or so. I have to have talk about it, the entire thing:

            Spoiler

Friend of mine read the book as well as watched the movie and although said the movie did a fine job, he preferred the ending of the book, i won't see this friend till Thursday, so what was the difference between the book and the movie?

Just saw Brooklyn's finest. Decent film. A bit cliche and a bit long but I left somewhat happy.

Ninja Assassin- 7.2 overall, however for action and blood 9.0

The movie was an at-testament to the new Ninja Gaiden series. I don't care what anybody says, I feel like i just watched a movie based on Team Ninja's game. The blood, the weapons, the dismemberments, it was like a tribute to good action games.

Yes the story wasn't very good, but damn the first 5 minutes of the movie had me gushing out of entertainment.

I just finished watching Spike Lee's When the Levees Broke about NO and Hurricane Katrina. Its really difficult to comprehend that actually happened almost 5 years ago.

Ninja Assassin was one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I don't care if the story is stupid but if you're going to be a gory movie, at least make the blood look real. The effects were Sci-Fi Original quality.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I just watched Posession last night with Sarah Michelle Gellar. It wasn't necessarily a "bad" movie but it just seemed longer than it had to be. Also, the ending that they went with was so freaking cliche. The alternate ending was a lot darker and in my opinion would have made me like the movie a little more.

                        Posession with original ending: 5.2

                        Posession with alternate ending: 6.2

I just watched Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door off of the Netflix instant viewer. It was easily the most disturbing movie I've ever seen in my life.

Plan on watching Toy Story on Blu-Ray tonight. Finally! It's been one of my most anticipated Blu-Ray releases since I got a player a year ago.
