Watched the Hurt Locker last night. I don't know if I liked it or not. I do recommend it though.

Incredible. Easily my favorite movie of 2009.

Caught myself holding my breath a couple times during the sniper standoff.

        Amazingly tense.

        5/5.
Indeed, and that's what made this movie so great. I found myself rewinding the part where Eldridge fires off those rounds. I might even watch it again for this scene alone. I could of sworn that I inhaled some sand while watching the sniper scene.

The Principal w/ Jim Belushi. Didn't want to watch the whole thing again, but stayed sucked in. Another 80's "how do we deal with these f'd-up teenagers" movie that was entertaining if you've never seen it. You see shades of John Belushi come through here in there in some verbal and facial expressions here and there (though it's far from a comedy).

I watched Oldboy for the first time last night and all I have to say it WOW..... What a great movie. Great acting, great plot, great twist.

I had watched one of those countdown shows before where they were showing the 50 (maybe 100) most shocking moments in movies and Oldboy had two of top moments. So, when I saw it was coming on I thought I would tune in for a bit then play some 2K10. About 10-15 minutes later I couldn't turn away from the screen. This movie kept me captivated for the entire 2 hours and 10 minutes.

I would highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. Just get ready to read a lot.

I watched Surveillance a couple of nights ago. I had heard a lot of good things about it, but I thought it was pretty boring. I know the entire movie is building up to this "incredible" twist that they make sure to tell you all about on the back of the box, but the twist was something that was easily discovered about 30-40 minutes into the movie. I just did not enjoy it.

Part of a "trilogy". Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance are the other two. Oldboy is the middle. Though none of the movies are connected directly, they are all by the same director dealing with the same themes of revenge and salvation.

I wasn't a big fan of Oldboy, and thought that it was one of those overrated "underrated" movies.

Identity (2003) I'm going to punch the person who recommended this to me. Horrible movie. Thought it would be good with John Cusack and Rat Liotta but it sucked. It's a weird movie about a bunch of strangers stranded in a random hotel during a bad thunderstrom. The hotel just happens to be on a Indian burial ground and they start dissapearing one after another.

Yeah that movie was disappointing because the setup is awesome but the payoff is silly.

Steven Seagal "A Dangerous Man" nuff said
Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
                              Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
                              Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

Saints and Soldiers (2003)-Watched this instantly off Netflix and was pleasently surprised. Pretty solid WWII movie about a group of American soldiers who escaped after the Germans captured their unit and are now behind enemy lines trying to reach Allied forces to give them important intelligence. I thought it was kinda weird at first with a soldier seeing hallucinations but it made more sense as the movie went on. If your into WWII movies or war movies in general I think you will find this movie solid.
