The Incredible Hulk- 7/10

Thought it was pretty good. The cgi with the Hulk was real real good in my opinion. Story was good enough for what I expect from a superhero movie.


Thor - 6/10

Good movie but I was kind of bummed about the times that the "hero's" were on earth. Didn't care that they were in a city that was one block big. Kind of with it had happened in a bigger city. Plus I didn't really understand what all the "hammer" can and can't do.

WTFH!? That had to be one of the worst movies i've seen in some time. Everything from the music to the direction to the listless acting of Ryan Gosling made this movie a total snore. This gets a lot of positive reviews from IMDB but i'm not seeing it. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it?

Even my girlfriend who's a big Gosling fan hated it but made us watch the entire thing thus putting a sour note to our evening.

I thought Drive was massively overrated as well. I watched it all and thought it was 'ok' but it was much too slow and boring in parts to ever make me want to see it again. different folks / different strokes I guess.

I watch 21 Jump Street yesterday and went in with very low expectations but I have to say:




Some genuinely laugh out loud moments and I like they didn't take themselves too seriously and even had digs at themselves trying to rehash something from the 80's. 8/10 from me.

You have been the first person on OS who I've seen have a negative reaction to this film since its home video release. I'm not only surprised that there aren't more negative reactions to it, but I'm surprised that you reacted so negatively to it. For some reason, I thought this kind of film would be right up your alley.

Unfortunately, I didn't love it the first time I saw it (loved the opening scene though... near perfection), but I really want to give it a second chance now that I know what to expect. Haven't yet, though. Posts like this are a reminder that maybe I really don't like the film all that much.

I thought Drive was great but I do understand why people would not like it. Everything that SPTO hated about it I loved but no big deal.

I just watched Larry Crowne with Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Nothing fancy but I enjoyed the film simply because I always enjoy whatever Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts are in. One of those quirky romantic comedies but it was nice to see Tom Hanks character was just always positive and good things came to him. I don't know why, but I crack up every time I hear George Takei. Maybe its his voice and the way he talks but I crack up any time he's on tv.

saw the prestige for the first time ever on the ifc channel last week.
liked it so much i went out the next day and bought the bluray for 8 bucks at best buy
