Somebody please stop me right now. I'm watching Funny Games on IFC (I've seen it once before), and I need to get up in less than four hours. Probably the most sadistic movie I've ever seen.

Watching the original or the remake? I have seen the original several times but see no reason to watch the remake, good cast aside.

I've only seen the remake. Ironically enough, when you press the Info button while watching it, it shows the original Austrian cast and the 1997 release year. Mistake? I don't know. It was the Naomi Watts/Tim Roth version though.

I'll give the other version a chance... if it's in English? Not saying I don't watch subtitled movies (which are often more chilling), but because this movie is just calmly disturbing in its language, I think I'd really feel it more if I really heard what they said, instead of just "reading it off the page" like a book if that makes sense.

Just saw Godzilla and gotta say that it was worth the price of admission. The director (Gareth Edwards) did an excellent job of teasing and building throughout the film. Can't wait to see if he continues with the possible franchise of any of his other projects.

Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen (who knew she was so talented), Aaron Taylor - Johnson and Ken Watanabe all gave good to great performances. The special effects were on par with or better than any movie I've seen recently. Can't wait for the Blu-Ray release and (hopefully) plenty of Japanese of American sequels.

It's subtitled and from what I hear the remake is virtually shot-for-shot identical (same director even) so it may not be worth it to you, though the unknown Austrian actors will knock your socks off.

Watched GI Joe: Retaliation and Pain & Gain.

I really enjoyed both of them, as I don't put much weight into what "internet critics" judge a movie by.

It's crazy that Pain & Gain is a true story. The 90s was nuts.

Saw a headline that the movie is a toned down version of the real life story or something, as crazy as that possibility may seem.

Enjoyed the new X-Men. Long day so dozed a bit in the beginning

                          Spider-Man 2.

I thought it was solid, though it lulled at times.

Saw Godzilla in 3D last night. Despite being teased early on, I really enjoyed it and felt it was absolutely a movie worth experiencing in theaters.

                              Bully (2001)

What a disturbing movie. So much tension at the climax moment. A bunch of ****ed up teenagers doing ****ed up things; the nightmare of suburban mothers everywhere. Its hard to think teens can be this level stupid but then you realize the film is based on true events. The music coordinator of this one had some top picks as well to raise the tension even more.

Would recommend. But be warned, its pretty depressing and disturbing at times. Pretty good acting as well.

I, Frankenstein. Meh--just didn't connect with me. I just got done watching Xment: DoFP in 3D so maybe I was just tired. Will give this another chance later today.

3 Days to Kill. I liked it. Very similar to Taken.
