Re: What movies have you seen recently?
Picked up Monuments Men at BB...I thought ut was enjoyable. George directed it well and an impeccable cast. I think it didn't quite hit it's potential but it was based on a true story so there were some limitations (despite the Hollywood that may have been added anyway).

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
I've been catching up on quite a few movies over the last few weeks
Godzilla - Pretty good, but not as awesome as I expected. Maybe my expectations were too high.
Prisoners - Very intense movie. I thought the acting throughout was very well done. It made me think of two things surrounding potential video game movies 1) Jackman would be perfect as Joel from the Last of Us 2) We still need a Heavy Rain movie
Iron Man 3 - After hating IM 2 I wasn't in a big hurry to watch the third movie, but I finally caught it and I have to say I really enjoyed it. I'm not a comic reader or anything so I don't know how the story was supposed to go, so I wasn't disappointed like some of the guys in the IM 3 thread. Personally, I thought it was right up there with The Avengers, but that's just me...
The Way Way Back - Solid Move. It wasn't as good as Little Miss Sunshine, but I I still really enjoyed it.
Mud - Mcconaughey was great as usual, as was the rest of the cast. If you're a Boardwalk Empire fan you'll notice a couple of actors watching this, plus one of the regulars from American Horror Story is in it, as well. Actually in a weird way this movie was very similar to The Way Way Back. Both are coming-of-age tales about teenage boys who meet and form a bond with older men. One just has a lot more at stake than the other. I'd highly recommend both films.
Silver Linings Playbook - Like Chris, I don't know why I waited so long to watch this. I had heard a lot of positive things about this movie, but I'm not even sure why I kept putting it off. Now that I finally saw it, I'll definitely be watching again.Last edited by jeremym480; 06-03-2014, 05:44 PM.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

A Million Ways To Die in the West. Utter garbage. I'll have to take a break from watching Family Guy because just hearing Seth MacFarlane's voice will make me angry for a while.Ryan Spencer

Maleficent
Angelina Jolie carried this movie, if everyone else would have been as good as her, it would easily have been 8/10 for me......5/10PSN-Shugarooo

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
This film frustrated me. Not saying it was bad; Just saying it was frustrating.
I felt like Sandler's character was getting ripped off and it angered me. I needed anger management after watching it, I guess you could say.

Maleficient 3D. Enjoyed it quite a bit, fresh take on the fairy tale. Solid 3D presentation.
X-Men: DoFP 3D. Really liked it. Second time seeing this. Was the only person in the theater. Defintely in my top 5 of Marvel movies.
About last night. Surprisingly decent. Heavy doses of Kevin Hart---which is either a good thing or bad thing. Borrowed a couple of concepts from other movies...

Re: What movies have you seen recently?
After watching Anger Management I decided to continue my Adam Sandler streak and I watched Click for the first time. It was really heartwarming and I like the message of the story. Also, Sandler's character always has a smoking hot wife lol.
