    Anyway, I found it entertaining.
I definitely wouldn't put it near that level, but I know what you mean. I'd have to go back and read my comments on it, but I believe I was entertained watching it as well.

(I liked the other film you mentioned more, though)

Oh yeah, they're in totally different leagues. I made sure to actually make it out to the theater to see The Revenant. You're Next was just something fun to put on randomly.

        Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

It's one of those where you have to keep watching because you have to know how it ends. I think these are pretty much on par with The Hunger Games as there's such a mystery as to why the world is the way it is, though Maze Runner does a better job of describing the situation.

I'll have to read the books. I thought THG books were way better than the movies and I suspect the same thing here. But I was able to enjoy this more because I hadn't already read the book.

        The Walk

Was pleasantly surprised by this. Didn't know exactly what to expect from a movie based on one, short event. But JGL did a great job making a movie out of it (surely embellished at times). Fun movie, almost done as a real-time documentary. I rented both these movies on Redbox, and while I'd recommend the $1.50/day for The Scorch Trials, I think this one is a wait for it to come to streaming services. I think that's just the nature of each movie: you know the ending of The Walk, but Scorch Trials keeps you wondering what's the next twist.

          The Finest Hours

I really liked it obviously. Much better than the Guardian and made me a little emotional. I'm hoping the rest of America likes it too when it comes out next week.

            Daddy's Home

I watched it with a friend on a whim this afternoon and after watching Ride Along 2, it's definitely the funnier of the two. I'm only comparing because they came out so close together.

I noticed some parents had their kids with them and it really didn't seem like a kid appropriate movie at all.. pretty suggestive at times with some cussing.

Thought it was hilarious at times... love those two together.

Everything in the original felt like it was placed there with care thought. This season, everything has felt weak and random. Non of the main characters are interesting at all. It just blows my mind that it went from so meticulous to this garbage.

Caught Donnie Brasco on. One of my favorite Johnny Depp roles and Al Pacino is solid as well.

The Program. About the Lance Armstrong doping ordeal. It was pretty 'meh'. Danced along way too quickly. Plemons was ok. It was weird seeing him as a plumper in Fargo S02 and then as a cyclist. He didn't have a lot to work with here. About the only actor worth his merit here was Chris O'Dowd (the priest in St. Vincent). Something about him I really like. I'll have to check out his other movies. This is a movie you can skip.

Finally got around to seeing The Wolf Of Wall Street. I thought it was incredibly good. A little long in some parts, but a good movie overall. Leo DiCaprio played Belfort pretty good.

IT's not my favorite Scorcese film but I enjoyed it quite a bit. Entertaining

We've been rewatching FOTC. A reunion would be great. I gues Bret wrote all of the crazy songs as that's his schtick. Apparently he did the songs for one or more recent Muppet movies. Season 2 wasn't as strong, though. I'll have to give it a second try.
