EDIT: Well, I'll say they tripled in a couple of runs. I'm reflecting about what I saw during the credits, and I definitely see glaring weaknesses in the film. But the overall production was on point, and it got me jazzing only in a way that Pixar can. I think this is one of their very good ones.

This movie resonated so much with me. Probably not the best Pixar movie for kids, but I think this one will stay with me for awhile.

Yes, this is a perfect example of showing people that Pixar doesn't make "kid movies," but rather "family-friendly movies." This one really seems more for adults, but it's very suitable for children as well.

I saw it at my sister's house with sound through the TV. I'd like to see this at my house with my HT setup for sure!

I think the movie is 4 or 5 years old, now.

Best part is Roth's hot wife (Lorenza Izzo) & Ben Affleck's current flame's (Ana de Armas) pretty hot love scene with Reeves.

Movie is pretty cliché but has a bonkers plot.

Yeah she is smoking. They divorced in 2018. She also came out as pansexual.

That was a hot sex scene for sure.

Movie came out in 2015.....I did not even realize it. The plot was nuts. Some brutal stuff. Was a decent flick.

The Return Of The King already feels like an extended version LOL!!!

As I was watching the final movie of the trilogy tonight I couldn't help but to remember this quote from a couple of weeks ago. This movie is LONG, and it doesn't flash by like Two Towers.

Despite feeling how long it was, I was thoroughly entertained for the entire 4 hours (yikes). It definitely isn't as good as Two Towers, but it was a great way to finish out the trilogy. Especially just how it tied everything up at the end was very uplifting.

These movies have gotten better every time I've watched them, and it's always a little bit sad when you get to the end and realize that the epic adventure has concluded.

I finally just watched "Deadwood" the movie. It made me sad for all sorts of reasons, but not the least of them was that one of (if not the) greatest shows of all time never got a season 4.

But the last sequence in the movie almost - almost - makes up for a lot of the hard feelings about that. It's beautiful and brilliant, and though I will always want more "Deadwood", it probably is about the best way possible to send that universe out in peace.

Soul, what a beautiful movie. From the themes to the animation, I might be heading toward a Pixar binge and just rewatching everything they've ever made. I love The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Wall-E, now this and haven't even seen Ratatouille or Inside Out. I don't know how they keep doing this but I hope they never stop. And shout out to them finally freeing 22 so the Knicks can have some peace. Walt Frazier posters on the barbershop wall, Knicks hats, just awesome.

                          You're in for a treat.

You can skip Brave, Onward, and The Good Dinsoaur (though I liked that one). I'm not going to call out sequels for now, but I love most of what they put out.

Inside out was the same director as Soul. It's really good. I've enjoyed every Pixar movie to date. There's good variety to them.

And if you really get into it, Google the Pixar theory about how all of the movies (up to wall-e i think?) are set in the game universe. It's pretty wild.

The cheesiness of it becomes more obvious with each additional viewing, but it's still a fun movie. Great action.

I remember playing this game on I think the original Sega. It was a fun game then, and it's a pretty fun movie now. I don't think I could ever watch it a 2nd time, but for 1 viewing it was entertaining enough. I would still rank it pretty low on the list of The Rock's filmography though.

Dead Poets Society Took a little trip down memory lane and re-watched this one after decades. Interesting to see that of the youngsters in the film, Ethan Hawke was the one actor to come out of this to become an A/B lister. Although Robert Sean Leonard did make it onto "House". Robins was great....showed off his early acting chops. Story generally holds up. In retrospect the suicide scene probably would have been better done as implied. Kurtwood Smith seems to have made a career out of playing the angry, dickhead father and it started here (That 70's Show, Patriot).
