Disney/Pixar UP!
There are now two movies in my life that that have made me cry. Edward Scissors Hands and UP!
I goto the movies with my gf and her daughter expecting some crappy kids movie and I get this masterpiece.Last edited by USF11; 05-31-2009, 08:16 PM."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Tags: None -

It was a petty good movie -
Re: Disney/Pixar UP!
Up was alot more "adult" than I thought it was gonna be but I was looking forward to seeing it since last year so it didn't surprise me that it was good.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Disney/Pixar UP!
Great movie!
Agree with Jmood. It's not adult themed, there is a just a lot to follow and kids will enjoy it, but likely not follow what is happening(if they even can on other movies)
Anyone catch some of the pixar running gags? I saw the Pixar ball in the girls room as the house is floating away, and instantly recognized the construction workers voice.Comment

Re: Disney/Pixar UP!
This snuck up on me. Been waiting for this release and yesterday saw the poster and did a double take when I realized the opening date was yesterday.
I'm going to go watch this by myself. Can't think of anyone that cares enough to watch it with me. I love Pixar so I could give two craps if I look like a loser in the theater."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Disney/Pixar UP!
Is it only releasing in 3D, or did some of you go see a non-3D version? Don't get me wrong, I want to see it in 3D; it's just that no one made any comments about whether that helped the movie any more or anything (or if the 3D effects were good).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

After watching Bolt in 3D, I want to watch all 3D movies in 3D."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. I enjoyed it myself was my first 3d movie and seeing the preview for some of the upcoming 3d movies has me excited especially toy story 3.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Re: Disney/Pixar UP!
Went and saw this one yesterday.
Absolutely kick-***. Great movie.
It was made even worse for me when...
(not really a big spoiler...but still)
SpoilerAfter the wife died, a little kid behind my girlfriend and I asks his dad, in this incredibly quiet voice, "Where'd she go? Is she coming back?" Don't know why but it made that scene a lot sadder to me.Comment
