Movie was great, started out so funny! And then got sad, and then back to funny again. But you learn pretty quickly why he becomes bitter and honestly to have that kind of life I'd be grumpy too.

Movie was very emotional and good overall. Great way to end it too.

Took my 8 year old son to see this tonight and everyone enjoyed it. Not the best Disney/Pixar movie, but they have a slew of those, so that's not really fair to UP. As Shadows said, an emotional love story turned adventure.SQUIRREL! My son got a kick out of it and that's all that really matters. I just don't think it's a movie I could watch more than one.

Our son loves the Disney channel. Zack and Cody etc., so we've seen previews for this movie a lot, and it looks hilarious.

Pixar makes some good films actually. Can't wait to see it.

Every movie is worth seeing in 3D if it's available.

3D doesn't mean you have objects flying at you the entire time. It makes it seem like you are watching a play on a stage because you get a new depth of field and is something every movie should soon transition too.

It's not a massive spoiler at all. It happens within the first 10 minutes of the movie and has been talked about in every single preview. Why else do you think there's only an old man, a kid, and a dog that was shown in every trailer?

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Well, I didn't see it in 3D but now you guys are making me wish I had, lol. Either way, it still looked fantastic.

Easily the "saddest" pixar movie I've seen so far... I was on the verge of tears about four times! Very good movie. My favorite pixar film? No. But very, very good.

Such a good movie. Pixar can't miss. I LOVED it. I saw it with my wife and my aunt and all three of us had tears in our eyes a number of times (thank god for the 3D glasses....) My wife was actually streaming with tears at one point....

Funny, touching and incredibly entertaining. You'd have to be a robot not to love it.

I say no. 3D is a needless distraction and it washes out the colors. It's just a way for the theaters to charge a couple of extra bucks. Plus you have to wear those stupid glasses, but that's just my take.

See it in 3D. Unless you are just way to cool to wear 3D glasses that look like normal glasses in a dark theater.

Great, great film...though I can see why some people dislike it. There were at least 10-15 minutes that I knew my five year old wouldn't truly "get", while during that same span there wasn't a dry adult eye in the house.

Still, he DID enjoy it, and for me, it's probably in my top two or three Pixar movies, since the whole husband/wife/loss dynamic hit me nearly as hard as the father/son story in Finding Nemo.

A shame that we get Toy Story 3 next year and Cars 2 in 2011. I'm sure both will be good, but I'm going to miss not having a new Pixar IP over that span.

My kid knew what was happening, he is only 6, but his great grandma just died, so we had that talk about death. Still I was crying like a baby.
