Totally agree Johnny. I cried big time and I was so moved. I saw it coming and I still cried.

Saw it this evening. Not the best Pixar movie imo, but it was ok. The kids enjoyed it. I really liked the short before the movie, "Partly Cloudy".

They're releasing two films in 2011, the other being a new IP. I can't believe they're doing a Cars sequel though. I swear they're only making it just to try to prove to everyone that Cars isn't that bad.

That's for true. We paid close to 50 dollars for 2 adults and 2 kids, just for the tickets. I don't like going to the movies anyway because of the prices and the people, but I will definitely never see another movie in 3D.

Yeah...I saw that on Wiki. It's "The Princess and the Bow" or something like that.

As for "Cars 2", it's a moneymaker. The movie, towards the bottom on my Pixar list, wasn't really THAT bad. That was the first movie I took my son to and he loved it, owns most of the toys, and can't wait for the sequel.

I just wonder how they'll be able to do it without Paul Newman (Doc) and George Carlin (Fillmore). Hard enough to write one car out, now they have to do two, including a major one.

                Re: Disney/Pixar UP!

We saw this in 3d yesterday. I was a little more impressed with Monsters vs Aliens ( 3d wise ) but the movie really got to my Wife. She said she thought she was the only one crying in theater. I had to reassure her that like half the theater was crying. The movie was just "ok" at best for me, I am huge Pixar fan, but this movie really had some dark moments.

I said if she broke down crying at this ( not that that is a bad thing) then there is no way we are seeing that one about the sister who has cancer. That movie looks like it's going to rip people's heart out.

Incredible movie. Had everything a great movie should have in it, and yes, it was extremely touching.

Does anyone remember what was written by his wife in that adventure book? Its toward the end, there is something written at the bottom right corner, I was watchin a subtitled version so I couldn't catch it.

That is what was beautiful, she was showing him that see lived out her dreams after all! Damn good writing if you ask me. That movie had a lot of great sad touching moments.

                          Thanks.

Wow, that does add a lot to the movie. This is one of those movies that could have been great if it was a silent film. The scenes after the couple got married didn't even have any dialogue but really said so much. And the musical score has to at least get nominated for an oscar, it was great.

I just saw it tonight, and thought it was incredible. My wife and I had a discussion about it afterwards. We don't have kids, but for those of you with young kids who have seen this, do you think it affected them at all?

My wife was saying that it's a movie that she would NEVER want to take a small child too, and I can see why, but I disagree.

Saw it in 3D today. It was my first 3D movie and the 3D effects were pretty cool. I like how the '3D' was not to obtrusive and I felt instead that it really added to the picture. Picture quality aside, I thought the film was one of Pixars best.

I took my 3 year old daughter to it and she loved it. A few times we've been talking and she'll say "Squirrell" and look away and start laughing. She thinks its hilarious.

She really didn't catch on to what the adults find to be really sad.

I will say this though, if you have a young child, you are better off screening all "kids" movies first because most have some down right horrible thing happen usually right at the beginning. Most on demand kids movies, I start at about the 20 minute mark so we get past all the depressing stuff because she gets REALLY upset and emotional if she sees anything die.
