wtf man, i still watch the original when its on. why cant they do something new but similar?

seriously going at this rate, Back to the future will have a remake coming, then nightmere on elm street, then anything else that was good 10 years ago will be remade. Looks like its not just videogames, but nobody wants to be creative anymore with anything. what the heck is going on.

I just really hope they don't go stereotypical and have Smith be a rapping young kid tempted to join a gang but end up learning karate instead...

I'm surprised the Brat Pack movies haven't been remade yet.

I think Trick r' Treat might be the one

On topic: Don't know what to say here, finally saw the Pursuit of Happiness and a fantastic movie. Jayden has some skills i guess, and he was also alright in The Day the Earth Stood still, however he does appear to be to young for this role and i'm tired of remakes. But Jackie Chan equals semi-win

I think The Descent and 28 Days Later are amazing as far as recent horror movies go.

All they need to do is have Michael Bay direct and it'll be a great movie.

How old is that kid? What is someone going to steal his lunch money or bubble gum.

While I'm not exactly thrilled to go see this, people really shouldn't act like this, the horror remakes, or Transformers 2 are "tainting" anything.

That is my biggest gripe. His age. This has to be aimed for the little kid/G rated crowd. Kinda like "3 Ninjas". I think this is a movie that WSmith pushed through to get his kid top billing. The studio was afraid of a flop so they decided to ride the coattails of the Karate Kid franchise just to get more butts in the seats due to the nostalgia factor.

                              Just MO though.

I grew up with that movie. So this is a pretty sad day!
