Because there's no point in going into a thread about a show you aren't a fan of and don't watch, and telling people that do like it that they are wrong.

Loved it. I'm just as "Lost" as I've always been watching this show and that's what made it so intriguing to me.

I think the so-called sideway flashes was the purgatory and that everything on the island did happen. I wonder if everything ended after they blew up that nuke. Got me thinking when Juliet mentioned something about coffee to Sawyer at the hospital and she also said something about it when she came back to life after the nuke went off.

I found finale to be extremely gratifying and very poetic and beautiful, but now I feel very empty inside. I've been watching LOST for just over a quarter of my life (28%), and now it is over. Now what do I do?

I couldn't have asked for a better ending to one of the best series I've ever seen. I'm just not looking forward to waking up tomorrow with LOST out of my life. Bummer.

First of all, I was a fan of the show. Second, I didn't say the people who liked the show were wrong about anything. Suggest that maybe not everyone views the overall point of the show like they do and not get so bent out of shape about it (You, for example).

I didn't think people would turn into 13 y.o. girls about it, but I'm sure that will blamed on me even though I didn't ask for that treatment.

I kind of have to go with P2K on this one...I've been watching LOST since 2004 and have enjoyed it very much. I wasn't sure how the writers would "explain" things once it got crazy in S4, but I hung in because I enjoyed it. The finale left a lot to be desired for me. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy the whole thing, but put it this way: if you had told me how this whole series was going to go back in 2004 I doubt I would have invested the time into it that I did.

For those that loved it, that's great. It's disingenuous for you to feel like folks who didn't like it are off base though...their opinion is just as valid as yours.

I may have to turn on Preston & Steve for how they felt about the ending. They are huge Lost fans and people at their viewing party said they left it feeling way more confused and disappointed.

Exactly. That's all I'm saying. Maybe I came off kinda weird with saying "duped", but I thought I explained it out well. Plus, even said the loyal fans would have no prob with it because it was THEIR show. I didn't mean to cause name calling and stuff. Thought it was an honest opinion.

I look at like this now that I've had time to think about it. There were two different types of views when it came to this show. People like myself, the ones who cared more about the whole Island aspect of the show and what was going on with the Island itself.

Then there were the people who were more interested in how the characters dealt with the Island and all its issues.

So when I look back at it. One of the two groups were going to be disappointed.

It was a good show and I'm not upset that I've watched it all this time. But this season has put it down somewhat in terms of all time great shows in my eyes.
